usually if this light comes on its to late and your engine will have considerable damage.. if it's a sensor failure then you need an oil pressure sending unit. they are fairly inexpensive and can be found on the oil filter adapter housing

It means the engine oil pressure is below a safe reading as sensed by the gauge and light sending unit on the engine. DO NOT DRIVE THIS UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS REPAIRED.
