It is in protection mode, Double check your wires and make sure that every wire is hooked up right. if not then you need a new amp.

What does the red and green light mean ???

red and green light? there is most likely a protection and a power light. The red I assume would either be a protection light or a clipping light signal. Does the amp kick off then these lights kick on red then to green?

The saftey red light keeps coming on

It means that the subwoofer is blown. The red light is called the Protect light. Disconnect the speaker wire from the amp and then turn the amp on and see if the red light goes away. But if as soon as you hook the speaker wires back to the amp and the red light turns on that DEFINATELY means the sub is blown.

I bought a MTX Terminator amp and the light is red when I turn it on, but it works. Red usually means protect mode but it works fine. Should the light be red or green?

all depends on that amp... if there was an issue it wouldnt work, and the light would be by a protect symbol... if its just red next to the power symbol i say no issue.

Red Light

that means you probably have a shorted speaker wire, a bad speaker or the amp itself is bad, try disconnecting the speakers one at a time and see if it turns on or not. if the red light stays on with no speakers hooked up it means the amp is bad

Does my amps red light mean stop

The red light is for overload. Even though it has not blown any fuses but its definitely fried some capacitor, diodes, etc. If its still giving you sound output, make sure that your equipment is properly grounded before you start using it.........sodeep
