Reset Bios on IQ770 HP computer with monitor problems

Your HP w2207 monitor has support for both VGA and DVI inputs. This therefore means that you can connect your HP TouchSmart IQ770 PC via either of these two connectors.

VGA is the blue coloured port on the rear of your monitor.
DVI is the white coloured rectangular port located on the rear of your monitor.

DVI is the better connection of the two as it is a digital connection, so use this one if you can, alternatively you can use the blue coloured VGA cable to connect your monitor to your computer.

It all depends on which output, either DVI or VGA is found on your Computer. Remember VGA is the Blue coloured port and DVI is the blue coloured port.

There is clearly a problem with the display.

If your system is still under warranty, contact HP for a repair / replacement.

Hope this helps.

Go to support.hp.com and look up your computer.
Download and install the Vista drivers.
If you don't see Vista drivers the computer won't run Vista. Go back to XP.

If you had got any new hardware perhaps Speakers? try and make sure the speakers are not very close to the screen.Because the electromagnetic waves affect the monitor.

If not then adjust the screen resolution.Hope your problem will be solved

check power lead to monitor, check coupling cable fron computer to monitor.or resolution is too high for monitor

does this unit have an external monitor connector? if it does you can use another monitor to check t he output of the video card.

other than that....I think you are headed for a repair bay somewhere.

upgrade ur bios

There may be a setting problem on your computer.
Check in the control panel.

check all the cable connectors, reinstall the driver, if all else fails, the touchscreen glass / controller need replacement
