Steady Red Light

I've never had a problem with my Jabra BT150 before. I really love it. But I lost the charger to it almost a year ago. I finally bought a replacement charger, and now it has a steady red light, with the blinking blue (standby) coming through on top of it. I don't know what the steady red light means..or how to get rid of it! I know that blinking red means that it means to be charged. Mind you, the bluetooth is working on calls; but the light MUST be mean something! Can someone help?! Thanks so much!

I have lost the charger to my Jabra BT 150, any one know where I can find a cheap one?

I cannot get the red light to go off even though I charged all night.

My red light won't go off even though I charged it all night.

Also, a small piece of plastic came off the charge opening. I don't know if this is will pose a problem to the use of the Jabra BT150.

From the sounds of this.. It's all due to bad keying of the polarized charging plug. The solid red light PROBABLY means you're battery is pretty darn dead. It'll need a new battery(not worth the cost imho. get a new jabra, and be happy once again) At a certain low voltage, the red light starts blinking. when it drops below the preset threshold, it will shut off completely. If it sits too long at this discharged rate, the battry WILL self-terminate. If the voltage drops below a certain level, it's ruined. Also note, most Li-ion cells will only last a few years. 2-3 years of "full power" is usual. Mine's 2 years old(steady usage), and showing signs of it's age.

This is probably the most telling bit of information. It means you DID plug the charger in upside down. It will NEVER charge in that configuration, as it is supplying power to the completely wrong pins. If the battery was good to start with, it shouldn't hurt the headset, but never know. I have accidentily plugged it in backwards for a couple min before noticing, with no ill efect, but YMMV.

"Doesn't anyone from the Jabra manufacturer check this site?"

NO (especially not for discontinued products)

How to connect .

That's how you do it for other jabra's but not this one. You have turn it on then after it's on you have to hold the function (same as power button) and the volume up button at the same time until the light turns solid.

BT150 not going into discoverable mode

First turn on the Jabra BT 150 by holding the power button for about 4 seconds. Then hold the + key and the the power button together for about 4 seconds and the power light will go steady. Then have your bluetooth capable cell phone search. It'll find it and when asked for a PIN just enter 0000. Tjis will change the jabra power light to blinking when paired successful.

Can't turn on ! no in structions w/ear peace. LG PHONE(chocolate) can't find ! BT150 Jabra ! I do'nt know wich buttons are what? how long it last, or when its charged ? H..E..L..P....!!!!

Go to the bleemin Jabra website! (http://www.jabra.com/Sites/Jabra/NA-US/Headsets/Pages/JabraBT150.aspx)

"When I put the charger on for the first time after purchasing and plugged it in there was just a quick blue flash but no lights came on ever."

This one is more fun. The charger that comes with the bluetooth WILL plug in 180 degrees from proper.
Symptom of reverse plug-in is usually a dull(VERY dim) blue glow and a high pitch whine. Depending on
the parts used in your production batch, one inverted plug-in could have popped something. Try rotating the plug 180 degrees, and seeing if the charging light doesn't come on(if it does, then you're good, if not, return for refund, or you're fubared)

Lost instructions BT150 how to connect to phone?

1. Turn the BT150 on. To do this press and hold the answer/end button until the light flashes blue, then release.
2. Press and hold the answer/end button and the volume up (+) button until you receive solid blue light. This may take up to 10 seconds.
3. Go into the Bluetooth menu on your cell phone and follow the cell phone’s instruction guide for pairing a Bluetooth headset. This generally involves going into a “devices” or “hands free” menu and adding a new device. Your phone may ask if you want to pair with the headset, accept by pressing “yes” or “OK” and confirm with the passkey or PIN 0000 (4 zeros).

Jabra BT150 No power

Make sure the charger is in right. If you put it on wrong you will get a faint blue light, when it is in right you will get a BRIGHT BLUE LIGHT. It WILL NOT charge if it is in wrong.
