Connect the airport extreme to the voyager using a network cable... factory reset the extreme and then connect to it using the airport utility... you should get a setup screen where you can switch the extreme to "bridge mode" .. everything else should happen automatically.. you will then have 2 wireless networks?

Do i need bt wireless for on demand connection I only have bt broadband

You will need a wireless router, like the Apple Airport Express. It will connect to your broadband modem via an RJ45 (ethernet) cable.

Not connecting wirelessly to mac

Thank you for contacting Fixya Support, I am glad to assist.

Depending on what type of Internet service you are using, your Intel iMac comes standard with an Airport Extreme wireless card built in. As a result, if you are unable to connect wirelessly to the Internet, you will need to try this:

- Click on the Apple menu icon, located in the upper left corner of your screen and select System Preferences from the drop down menu.

- Now locate Network from within System Preferences.
- In the side window, make sure you see Airport and check also to see that it is turned on. If it is, then check the left side window to see if the AirPort connection is active.

Keep in mind, your modem or connection router of course, has to be able to provide wireless connectivity, otherwise, if you do not, there will be no need to try connecting via your AirPort Extreme card.

If your network has been physically set as a wireless network, then just turning on the AirPort card in System Preferences>Network will start discovering all networks within its range, including your own network.

So whether you are using an Airport Extreme, Express or a 3rd party (non-Apple-branded) router, you should be able to connect wirelessly.

If you are still unable to connect with these basic steps, here are a few articles you will need to review from Apple Support informational database:
Requirements for wireless Internet access with AirPort
Airport & Bluetooth interference (for connectivity issues)

So here are some basic steps and resources you can try.

If you have more questions please feel free to post a comment.

I hope this information helps.

Airport settings in Mac leopard

Make sure your ADSL router has wireless capability or wireless function. Verify that from your Internet Provider. If your ADSL router doesn't have wireless function, you need to buy a separate wireless router then cascade it to your ADSL router, from there your airport must be working fine.

Wireless printing

The MP830 does not include the ability to do Wireless Network printing. You can however, connect this printer to one of your Windows or Mac PCs and share it on the network, which is wireless, therefore accomplishing the same thing.

1) Install the Drivers and Software that came with your Printer.
2) Go to the Control Panel > Printers & Faxes
3) Right-click your printer and click "Sharing"
4) Choose Share this Printer, and give it a name.
5) You can then on, use the Add Printer Wizard on any other Windows PC and install it by searching for network printers.

Step 1 is the same for Mac
2) Go to System Preferences > Sharing
3) Check the box for Printer Sharing
4) Any Mac on the network can see it!!
5) Added treat: go to http://apple.com/bonjour to install bonjour for Windows, using this software you can print using any Mac printer on any PC
