first, you need to have it installed in your phone (guess you'r already there)
complete the sign up and confirm you'r phone number (you will recieve a confirmation code on you mobile number) and you need to be connected to internet
check if the person you want to send SMS to does have the app installed in his phone and he's connected to internet
Enjoy :)
not sure why it would not. a better way to get a precise solution would be what is the type of your phone ? are you sure your number was registered on whatsApp ? sometimes it looses registration when you change phones or carrier providers and that is why it happens. or maybe bad internet connectivity ?
1.Please check your whatsapp version kindly update it the validity is for 1 year free use. 2.Check your GPRS Settings is it properly configured and your Mobile Balance.

1. Press the Setup button - Press OK 2. Scroll to Tools - Press OK 3. Press OK on Run Fax Test 4. It will list you possible causes why you are not able to send/receive fax
If you cannot solve the issue with the Fax Report, you can do a semi-full reset on printer ( do not do the semifull reset on printer if connected to wireless, If you do so, the printer will loose wireless connectivity to router and you will have to setup the printer on router again )
Disconnect the power cord from back of printer ( when printer is powered on ) Hold the # and 6 button and while holding connect the cord back
This reset will Erase fax logs, wireless connectivity any other memory stored in printer
Follow the instructions on printer screen to re-align the printer and cartridges
Try to send/receive fax and it should work.

Or you didn't pay your subscription on time and the ISP disabled your cable modem to send user traffic over the cable network. When both Send and Receive lights are blinking that is a visual aid that the modem is working fine, but the ISP disabled its access to the network (unpaid bill, legal issues, etc.)
