Wiring toggle switch royal 9512x

I had to take the wires off the toggle switch on a royal 9512x shredder. I misplaced the diagram for reconnecting the wires. There's a yellow jumper between 3 & 4. I need to know what terminal the power leads, Red & Black go to, and the other Red, Yellow & Orange leads go to.
The terminals are numbered 1A, 2A, 3A, 4B, 5B and 6B. Can you help me.

  • jag8359 May 02, 2009

I followed the instructions but the fuse keeps blowing.

  • jag8359 May 02, 2009

I'm still having a problem. Looking at the back of the switch with the two long dashes down the terminals are number as follows.

    4B 1A ________

    5B 2A O

    6B 3A =======

The last time I turned in on it blew circuit but not the fuse.

Starting from the end of the switch with the two dashes, and viewing from the back counting left to right and top to bottom: Yellow jumper from 1 to 6; small red wire from controller to 2; red from motor to 3; black from motor to 4; orange from controller to 5; yellow from controller to 6.

as you said the fuse blows again n again.this has two possibilities
1)the wires are short in between then only fuse blows.
2)or if the wires are not fitted /connected properly or connected at wrong poles.
cjheck out.

then it is definately the wires poroblem.they are having cut in between or they are not supplying proper current due to which circuit not getting complete.replace the wires with connecting external wires.or get the set of wires from local electronic hardware store or from

Royal Orca 9512X Business Shredder printed circuit board part?

This is the only place that says it might?

https://www.pacparts.com/library/model.cfm?mfg=Royal&model_id=ORCA%209512X&action=list_part&back=0

ShredderParts.com is the go-to place, but they don't keep parts.

https://www.google.com/search?q=Royal+orca+9512x+parts

Your best bet is probably going to be to take the circuit board to an electronics technician and ask them to test and replace components that have failed.

I have an older royal orca 9512x shredder that I purchased at staples....recently it wouldn't work...I found out that the plastic switch that triggers the shredder fell off ...a small projection of...

screw a small screw into the piece in the back right corner of the basket that the shredder fits on. This will adjust to the height needed to make the shredder run.

Royal Orca 9512x shredder will not run. I have checked the fuse and it is good. Cleared a paper jam and still wont run forward or reverse.

If motor wont run at all then probably the pcb is blown...call Royal at 1-800-524-0799 for parts and prices.

Royal orca wont forward will reverse shredd.

May have paper bits jammed above fixed curved metal surface that spiral cutter slices against.  Need to spend time removing built up material with stiff wire or flat tool.
