I have a 125cc Viva ATV, and I cannot get it to start. When I engage the parking brake and put it into neutral, I get the green light, but the ignition switch doesn't produce any response at all. No noise of any kind indicating the atv is trying to start. The starter is new I'm told. Any ideas?
My boyfriend and I had a similar problem with our viva four wheeler;
we replaced one of the fuse holders and haven't had problem since! =]
do you know of any place we can buy parts for Vivas?!
hello, i bought a viva 400 atv had similar problem, tried new switch, no go, friend of mine is a self taught electrican, he put a wire to the hot side of battery, and ran it to the red wire to the key switch, mine started right up believe it or not, have been riding it every weekend on edna mtn, mine has one black wire and one red wire to the key switch, try that you might get it to start, if not cross starter relay, with screw driver and see if it will at least turn over, if it does, pull spark plug out and see if any fire is getting to plug, also i have a 350 warrior that wasnt firing, i checked every wire on the plug ins with small screwdriver even if plugged into each other, push in on wires oppsite end of plugins push all wires in make sure they are all plugged into each other, even if everything is plugged up , check all wires, or get you a ohm meter and check for power to most hot wires, hope this is helpfull to you, havent been on here in a while, good luck, this viva i have runs very well, but i am sticking with my old 350 warrior, they are hard to beat...
