Cant log on to wireless web

go to https://myaccount.talktalk.co.uk/login/login/login?
and log in with the credentials you used to open the account.

This could easily be an issue with either your TalkTalk internet connection or your Wii. I did experience issues connecting my Nintendo Wii console at first too, but after getting a new router, it works just fine.

The Nintendo Wii console has never been a very good internet-enabled console anyway, and alot of wireless settings will not be compatible with it.

Make sure that your TalkTalk router is using WEP or WPA-PSK security. You can also try changing the Wireless Channel and MTU Size. make sure the MTU size is set at 1450, the channel can be anything, but only a few should work. You can access these settings easily by just going to Internet Explorer and typing in:

1. 192.168.1.1 for D-Link and Huawei
2. 192.168.0.1 for Netgear
3. 192.168.1.254 for Thompson Speedtouch

If TalkTalk did supply your router, then it should be one of the models mentioned above.

If you have any laptops or phones that use the wireless and it works fine, then it may just be the Wii console. TalkTalk will not support the Wii or any video game console so there's no point in calling them for support.

It should be ok aslong as it is in sync. Can you tell me what router settings your using for talktalk? It should be PPPoA, Vc Mux, Mtu of 1432, Idle of 0. Ip assigned by isp is yes. Also make sure your username and password is correct.The username is going to be
[email protected] and password is as provided by talktalk. IF your getting stable sync on the belkin the distance and noise levels shouldnt be causing an issue.

If you normally use POP3 to access your TalkTalk e-mail and haven't used Webmail for a while you may find that you can no longer log in. I have seen just a few isolated cases of this.
I'm not sure why but to fix it log into www.talktalk.net and access the Broadband Dashboard which is located on the left hand side under Broadband / Manage Broadband Features. Choose

• Now sign in again, SIGH!, using your telephone-number@talktalk.net and your broadband password. If you have forgotten your password then just call 08700 875562 from your TalkTalk landline and follow the instructions.
• Select the e-mail tab and enter a new password (or even the same password) against the e-mail address you are having problems with and then press UPDATE.
• Now you can go back to webmail.talktalk.net and you should be able to sign in using the e-mail address and password. If its your first time on the new e-mail platform then you will be asked to fill in some extra details such as your name, gender and date of birth and press submit them.

Webmail should now be working again.

You can put on a password for internet access for all wireless networks to prevent these strangers logging on.

I think this is a wireless router, and therefore does not need an installation disk.

all you need to do is connect to the router (using a lan cable if you cannot connect to it wirelessly) the default IP address should be 192.168.2.1 type this ip into IE you should get a configuration page and then you should then be able to configure the rest of the settings yourself
