Are there any lights showing on the display at all?
If so usually you can reset the clock by holding down the 2 left hand buttons down then using the plus minus buttons to set the time

when the power goes out The display has to be reset, clear instructions will be in the owners manual , most instructions change from model to model. so check the manual.
If you arentt seeing any display then first check the main power supply. if you see display and the temperature not going up then there is an switch at the back of oven(red color). if its already seems pressed then you have another problem. please let me know if you have another problem thanks please rate my work
Another Fixya member, skillful79, says you should hold down the two buttons on the left side at the same time, then set the time using the + and - buttons.
In my experience of repairing ovens, it is usually possible to replace glass without going to the expense of replacing whole panel.
Check with the manufacture.
Hop this helps.
Turn off the circuit breaker that controls the oven. Wait for a minute and then turn the breaker back on. If the display comes back, reset the clock. If it doedn't come back, and is still scrambled, you will need to call a service tech.
look behind thecontrol panal and find the wire diagrame, you may have to remove the back panal.un plug unit first.on the diagrame it has a place were it tell's you what f3e2 mean's.
I got your fix no prob. This is going to cost you a buck fifty, that's $1.50, I say it again...one dollar and fifty cents! Got your attention yet?
Here's the solution to a dim display or non working display when the oven otherwise works.
1. Turn off your circut breakers to your oven, then remove the display and control panel via the screws you see on the top or underneith. There will be about 4-7 screws based on your model oven. You'll pull it either up or down depending on the model by grabbing with both hands on either side of the panal after you have removed the screws.
2. Carfully remove the three or four ribbon cables connecting the display panal to the oven electrically. This should be done carfully and only after the power is shut off to your ovens by the circut breaker or unplugging them.
3. Pull the display panel out by unlatching the black plastic snap holders. Using a soldering iron (costs about 15 bucks at radio shack), remove the C3 (68uF 35V) capacitor from the board. Replace it with the 100uF 35V capacitor from radio shack or digikey for $1.50 +tax. If you don't know how to solder, well you can learn for about 15 minutes of your time, or you'll have to resort to paying your repair man over 300 bucks to fix it himself and the best part. HE CAN'T SOLDER EITHER! He'll replace the whole display LCD because that's the most profitable choice for him and Jenn-Air/Matag.
4. After getting upset at how easy this fix was, put the oven together and rejoice that you just fixed your display problem for less then 2 dollars and about and hour of your time considering the search the brought you here. Cheers to you and to me for letting you know about this. Share all the knowledge you have with others. It's free money!
mY 27" WALL jENN air blows cold air out the vents when on cleaning cycle. The red buttons aren't lighted. The door locks, otherwise it bakes fine. I wonder if it is really cleaning?
I had a similar problem. Solved mine by resetting the manual reset thermal switch. The switch for the top oven is located behind the control panal which can be removed easily by taking out three screws then lifting up an leaning out. The switch has a red reset button, just push it in till it clicks.
For safety, SWITCH THE BREAKER OFF WHILE YOU DO THIS!!!
The lower oven switch is located behind the vent grill between the two ovens.
GE should be ashamed of hiding this feature-it isn't mentioned in the manual. I discovered it on a schematic hidden behind the control panal.
generaly the only way to reset is by turning off the power to the oven at switch board for at least 30s. if this does not work check the back of the digital panal for any burn marks as it may have shorted when it fell back, also check any wiring connectors have not come off
