SOURCE: need installation/hook-up instructions for mitel

Generally you just need to log into the ICP and go into desktop device assignments. The default username and password for a SX-200 is:
Username: installer
Password: 1000
If you don't know the IP of the ICP, you can try netscan (www.softperfect.com/products/networkscanner/) and sort through the results.

Follow the proper boot-up sequence in the manual, and verify the PC boots up on the native lan first.

Mitel 5540 phone is showing a PMS buffer is full message. Alarm Code 143. What does that mean?

The PMS Buffer Full message indicates that the call processing memory on the Mitel 5540 phone is full and can no longer accept any new data or commands. Posted PHONES to Computers?
Paired with either the Mitel MiVoice Business or the Mitel SX-200 IP Communications Platform (ICP), the 5540 IP Console supports up to nine line appearances, eight call hold positions
seems best is RTM, read the manual or call maker for support?

How do i configure the voicemail on my mitel 5330 ip phone?

Either your on-Site system administrator, or your vendor will have to make the change. This is a system wide setting, not just your phone.

Once the mailbox is set up in the system, dial the access code and the password (default is 1111). Follow the prompts... you are not complete until the guide tells you are.

Good Luck,
Mark

How do i change the time

The time and date are programmed through system programming. A 4015 phone cannot do this programming. A 4150 phone setup as a subattendant phone with the "attendant setup time/date" class of service option enabled for the 4150's class of service can change the system time and date. This is accessed through the LCD touch screen keys of the 4150. Scroll through the options in the screen until you find set time /date.
Also an attendant console with the "attendant setup time/date" class of service option enabled for its class of service can change the time and date. Press the function button then choose attendant function.
Choose set time. Enter the time in four digits as in 0800 for 8:00. Choose PM if needed. Choose set.
Choose exit to finish.

HOw do you change the time on the mitel 5330 IP phone? mine is an hour out after the clocks have gone back for autumn

You cannot change the time from the phone. Your system administrator must change the time in your PBX. If you have the latest version, you can have your PBX sync with an internet time server and will never have to update again!
