Whats wrong with my dvd player

Press enter and power button untill it turnes off. Mine worked after that.

it sounds like a wiring problem i have seen these in many in dash dvd players. if you still have the manual just check your connections and your grounds there may be a short or mis matched wire

sounds like you might have the wire that is always supposed to have power hooked to a switched power source

is it possible you hooked up power wires wrong

sounds like switched wire is hooked to battery and battery connection is hooked to switched source

only other option would be if ground is hooked incorrectly it should be hooked diretly to clean non painted metallic spot on cars body

Did you ever find out what was wrong with it? Mine just did the same thing!!!!

did ya sdo it self cuz if soo you probly forgot to hook up the ignition wire because cds will eject while car is off check for power at ignitiion wire the red one coming from deck harness and then get back to me

i'll look for mine i think i have the same flat screen . I no its a polaroid and its 15" screen witha built in dvd player . post again for camone311

try selecting the dvd or tv modes ... if that doesn't help , reset the system and start all over.

Try preforming an automatic code search:

1) Make sure the device is on.
2) Hold down the DVD button and the power button simultaneously until the red light stays on solid.
3) Then press the power button - it will flash one time - keep pressing slowly, letting it flash until the device turns off.
4) As soon as the device turns off, press the stop button

If your the remote does not power the device off after cycling through all the codes - You will know this when the power button blinks and deluminates - then your "universal" remote will not work with the DVD player.

I found the code! It is 0736. The company is now called AudioLogic.

Try resetting the unit by pressing the small, recessed button on the faceplate with the tip of a pen. If this doesn't work, the player may be defective. There is no wiring error (including failure to hook up the parking brake input) that will prevent the unit from playing CDs.
