Tv turned off without warning and will not come back on
My dads LCD 32 in Polaroid tv will not turn on. without any notice it went off. There is no red light or anything. We have tried plugging and unplugging...nothing is working. Can anyone help
Same thing happened after about 2.5 years with my 32" polaroid. Just shut off all the way without any warning. No LED lights or anything. Fuse is good. Looks like no fix for this one.... is it possible to get a new power supply?

Now,turn on the tv again describe what the cause now like power LED light indication flashes or no power at all or have sound no video.Tell me the current cause of the tv now,so i will tries diagnose the problems and help u to buy refurbishes boards to fix it.
Looking is one thing and testing is another. You will have to check for the 5 volt standby on the power supply then check for activity from the micro to turn the power on to the run state.
Your inverter boards need to be tested and serviced, these are circuits designed to control the light behind the LCD glass panel. It could also be the power supply not feeding 24volts too the inverter circuits. In that case the power board would need servicing.
Take it back if its under warranty if not get it serviced at your local repair center..
