If this is happening when dialing another extension, it means that the extension dialed is unplugged from the phone system or not installed.

Norstar M7310 getting Not In Service message

This message means that the system does not see a telephone connected to that extension. Check the extension that you are calling to see if it is operational. Check the extension number by using Feature *0 and pressing the intercom button.

I have panasonic kx-t7730. How to set the intercom name and number?

Changing the name and extension number can be done through system admin programming from a phone extension allowed by the class of service assigned to that extension by the phone system installer. Typically the attendant phone is allowed this ability. From the programming phone press **1234(1234 is the default password) to access programming. Once in programming dial 003 for extension numbering then press . Enter the current extension number of the phone you want to change followed by the new extension number then press . Lift the handset to end programming. Access programming again by pressing **1234. Dial 004 for extension name programming then press . Enter the new extension number you programmed then enter the name for the extension. Press then lift handset to end programming.

It is possible that your phone has not been assigned an extension number, in that case system installer programming would need to be accessed to assign the port an extension number. The port number the phone is connected to would have to be determined. This could require tracking the wiring back to where it is connected into the phone system. If this is the case I advise calling a qualified service technician.

CONTROL EXTENSION

By Class of Service (COS). It's an installer function, so you have to know how to get into programming and then you set up TRS levels.

Unable to load attachments when composing a email and unable to open an attachment that has been received

this will have to be a problem with the file extension.i guess you do not have the program to open the file extension that you have received.every file received end with an extension format e.g a word document file will end with a " .doc" extension,if you do not have microsoft word you may not be able to open such a file.

Extension number of phone needs to match voicemail extension #

Yes, if anyone has the solution, it would be great, otherwise have to call the service provider and pay for what is likely a very simple fix.

Extension cant answer in night service

This is a programed feature for the phone system. You will need to have your vendor reprogram the system to either allow for more rings, or simply turn the night service option off when still in the office.

Not in service

Whoops, the second part of that is press FEATURE *0 and the intercom button before you move it and see what extension it is.
Do the same thing after you move it. It will tell you what extension it is and if it stayed the same.

The system CoOrdinator or installer can turn off that Auto Set Relocation feature :-)

Warning Enable dynamic content when you really want to use it. By default, IIS disables dynamic content for security reasons.

To permit IIS to serve dynamic content, the administrator must unlock this content in the Web service extensions node in IIS Manager. To do this, the administrator must either enable a pre-existing Web service extension or add a new Web service extension.

Enable a Pre-existing Web Service Extension in IIS 6.0

To permit IIS to serve content that requires a specific ISAPI or CGI extension that is already listed in the Web service extensions list, follow these steps:
  1. Open IIS Manager, expand the master server node (that is, the Servername node), and then select the Web service extensions node.
  2. In the right pane of IIS Manager, right-click the extension that you want to enable. In this example, this is Active Server Pages.
  3. Click to select the Allow check box.
Add a New Web Service Extension to IIS 6.0

To permit IIS to serve content that requires a specific ISAPI or CGI extension that is not already listed in the Web service extensions list, follow these steps:
  1. Open IIS Manager, expand the master server node, and then select the Web service extensions node.
  2. In the right pane of the IIS Manager, click Add a new Web service extension under Tasks.
  3. In the Extension name box, type a friendly name for the extension that you want to add (for example, FrontPage Server Extensions).
  4. In the Required files box, click Add, and then select the path and the name of the file that will handle requests for the specific extension. After you select the path and the file name, click OK.
  5. If the extension must be enabled immediately, click to select the Set extension status to allowed check box.
  6. Click OK to save your changes.
Additional steps for Common Gateway Interface (CGI) applications

For CGI applications, you must also follow these steps:
  1. Right-click Default Web Site or the Web site that you want, and then click Properties.
  2. On the Home Directory tab, click Scripts and Executables in the Execute Permissions list.
  3. Make sure that the Everyone group has the following NTFS file system permissions on the C:\InetPub\wwwroot folder or on the folder that has the Web content for the site that you want:
    • Read & Execute
    • List Folder Contents
    • Read
  4. Right-click Default Web Site or the Web site that you want, and then click Properties.
  5. On the Home Directory tab, make sure that DefaultAppPool is selecting in the Application pool box. If another application pool is selected, follow these steps in IIS Manager:
    1. Expand Application Pools, right-click the application pool that you want, and then click Properties.
    2. On the Identity tab, make sure that one of the following conditions is true:
      • The Network Service account is selected.
      • The account that is selected is a member of the IIS_WPG group.
