ok solution you need to open the computer select c drive right click it select properties list will open select tools here you will see drive errors click it will scan for anything not working if not try this in search bar bottm left type in drivers this will open the device manager look in list select keyboard update driver done
Check the settings in the BIOS to see if they are disabled. If the are not, use a portable keyboard to see if the number keys work. If they do, check the device manager to see what the keyboard is listed as. You can delete it from the list and have it redetected. IF that does not work, OEM says that you restore the computer to factory settings. If that fails then you replace the keyboard.
The keyboard will need to be replaced, go to www.ebay.com Type make and model of laptop, refine search to keyboard and go through the list of prices. Before you replace the keyboard hook external keyboard to the laptop to verify operation.
if you have a keyboard modeled 2000 up there should be no problem it should still work, but frst you should clean and dry up your keyboard, try to list down your entire keyboard keys and take off all keys then wipe it dry just DONT soak it in water, gagana pa iyan
sorry but even a small amount of liquid can work its way under the keys. you could try getting a can of compressed air to dissipate the liquid that has seeped under the keys, if not then you will need a new keyboard or take the keyboard apart
disconnect the keyboard flex cable from the motherboard so the keyboard is not connected at all.
replace the keyboard
On option 1 you would need to take the laptop apart from the top so that you can take the keyboard out so that you can disconnect the cable, then place it back in.
On option 2 you would also need to take the laptop apart / open it from the top to get the keyboard out and disconnect the cable. and replace it with a new keyboard.
