Hello

It sounds like there is a build up of material on either the ball throwing wheels (decreasing the overall velocity and causing the balls to stick in the tube) or a build up in the actual tube.

From the manual, it recommends against using new tennis balls in the unit as this directly contributes to the debris build up on the ball throwing wheels. It is recommended to use slightly used balls as some of the waxy coating and ink on the ball would have been partially worn off.

I would suggest using a spray cleaner (like Windex) to clean out the tube. IF you get any material on your cleaning cloth, continue cleaning and, if necessary, use a mild abrasive pad to help with the cleaning process.

As for the ball throwing wheels, the manual suggests using a 40 to 60 grade sand paper and cleaning all of the wheels until they are slightly rough to the touch.

The manual for your unit can be found here:

I hope this helps you out!

Anna's science class weighed 4 identical balls on a scale. The combined weight of the balls was 1 kilogram. What was the weight of each ball?

The weight was 1 Kg for 4 identical balls. Identical balls will weigh the same, so divide 1 Kg by 4 to get 1/4 Kg each.

Won't switch on

Check that the rubber chute inside hasn't come adrift from the metal slide that comes down from the ball hopper on top.

Make sure machine is off before you look inside! :-)

We have an old leap frog learn around playground with tube topper and the balls are missing. can replacement balls be ordered

I have been working on this problem myself. The playground uses 2" diameter balls. So any 2"ball should work. Leapfrog themselves make repalcemetn balls for another toy that meet this criteria(Peek-a-Shoe Talking Octopus Spare Ball Set)..

AL2340 will not prime. Motor runs but cannot get it to prime

I worked at a tool rental center when I was going to college and learned many useful tips / tricks about airless sprayers. Airless sprayers have two check valves/balls that can stick on their seats or stay open due to chips of paint on seat. Easy method to prime is to remove intake filter from machine, tilt the machine back far enough so that the pick-up tube is pointing up high enough to pour water in tube until full; hold in this position and turn on machine. If water is sucked in turn off machine and tilt machine into pail of water and restart to check for prime. If it still will not prime remove water from pickup tube and use air pressure into tube with bypass valve open. Air pressure will attempt to release the stuck lower check ball. If air pressure does not release stuck ball you may have to use physical pressure against ball. If lower check ball was stuck you can assume that the upper check ball is probably stuck also. An aid to loosen stickey valves is to pour solvent into pickup tube with machine tilted back as before leave overnite. Enjoy
