Hi...

Find someone that does TV or audio repair and have them open it up. A cable assembly may have loosened during the MOVE.

Cheers

Which optical port in the back of the receiver goes to the optical port on the back of my HDTV

The manual talks about that.

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

Any of the three INPUTS if you're bringing sound IN from the TV or elsewhere; or the lone OUTPUT if you want to send audio to the TV or elsewhere.

If the former, consider sourcing the audio from the REAL original source of the program you're watching, most likely a Cable Box. Less cabling and fewer connections to fail.

Unit will not turn on. All other components connected to the same outlet will. Is there a fuse in the AVR 125 that I need to check/change?

There is no mention of any fuse in the owners manual (downloadable from the link below)
You could try plugging an external device into the unswitched ac outlet on the rear panel to check if ac power is actually reaching the unit.

Just bought a Sharp LED TV and there is a slight delay between hearing sound and seeing lips move. Have cable box hooked up to tv by HDMI and have cable box hooked to AVR (Harmon Kardon AVR125) by optical...

Hi if there is an optical out on the television i would use that direct to your Harmon Kardon AVR 125, the sound would be in sync with picture, as the source is the same.

Harmon kardon avr 125 shuts down

If you want to fix it:

It must be a contact problem arount the power switch, power cable, fuse or the condensator area.
Maybe you can se a black color on the board.
And checking the solderind points with a magnifyer can help too.

Thats all from that distence.
