How to fix status 0xc0000185

My game was lagging a lot so i restarted my lap top now it says windows and it stays blank when i go to repair mode it says this error status 0xc0000185 what should I do help would be appreciated

    What ever I click the windows logo loads up like it should but then it stays loading and if i go to safe mode then its says things about replacing partations and I dont know that that means

Looks like an issue with either display or system is overheating. Please try the below steps.

1. Shut down the computer
2. Keep on tapping F8 key as us press the Power button to turn on the computer.
3. Choose safe mode using the arrow keys on the keyboard and hit Enter Key
4. Stay on the safe mode to see if the screen is going blank, if not

ADVENT KC550P Lap Top scren

the pc is standing at command prompt, which means it is unable to find the boot.ini file required to boot into windows

When you say you pressed F8 did you keep pressing it until you got a menu saying Safe Mode,last known good configuration, start in VGA mode etc, if so use last known good configuration and let it reboot.

If still nothing then you will need the windows cd to perform a system repair.
