Cracked screen can i still claim ?

Only if you purchased accidental damage insurance or warranty on the device. Placed like best buy would office this, but if you didnt and only have the stock google warranty, then no. You would have to find a place to repair it or repair it yourself. There are some great tutorial on how to replace the screen on a nexus 7 device on youtube, and replacing the screen is easier then you would think
