To Turn on/off Scroll Lock do one of the following: Press the Scroll Lock (sometimes appears as ScrLk) key on your keyboard. If your keyboard does not have a Scroll Lock key, on your computer, go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Ease of Access, and then click On-Screen Keyboard.
Don't you have a key with a padlock icon?
That should be your scroll lock.
If the color is not white, you may have to press first a function key with the same color as the padlock icon.
The third one is probably Scroll lock. On your keyboard you should see a key labels Scroll Lock or it may be abbreviated. The key may also have the same symbol as the light. You turn Scroll lock on and off the same way as turning Num Lock on and off. Usually involves using the FN key + Scroll Lock.
Please open this LINK, scroll down to page no. 2-5 i.e. the section with "To use the Function Hot Keys Fn". There you'll find the details about the functional function keys of your compaq. It seems your function key i.e. Fn key is activated, to deactivate, press and hold down the Fn key while you tap the Numlock key once.

press the key "Print Screen" "PrnScr" or whatsoever sounds equivalent. If this key is printed outside of the key in color orange, you need to hold down FN key while pressing the "PrnScr" key
