If your Lorex LHV1000 HD DVR is not booting up, there are a few things you can try:
Check all cables and connections: Ensure that all cables are securely connected to the DVR and that there are no loose connections or damaged cables.
Restart the DVR: Disconnect the power cable from the DVR, wait for a few minutes, and then reconnect it. Try to power on the DVR again.
Reset the DVR: If restarting the DVR doesn't work, try resetting it to its default settings. This can be done by pressing and holding the reset button on the back of the DVR for about 10 seconds.
Check the hard drive: If the DVR is still not booting up, it could be due to a faulty hard drive. Try removing the hard drive and connecting it to a computer to check if it's still functioning properly.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact Lorex technical support for further assistance.
If your Lorex DVR won't turn on, it is likely that the power cord is not properly connected. Make sure that the power cord is securely connected to the DVR and that the power switch is in the "on" position. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the power cord or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
There should be a paper clip size hole somewhere on the back of the unit. If you depress the button in there it should be the reset. The problems sounds to me more of a hard drive issue though.
NORMAL ON POWER UP , IT;S TELLING YOU POWER HAS BEEN CYCLED AND OPERATOR NEEDS TO CK THAT SYSTEM HAS RESTORED CORRECTLY ,USE MOUSE TO CLICK BELL ON BOTTOM EDGE OF HOME SCREEN TO CANCEL BEEP !
You need top open the top of the case by removing the screws and check to see if the hard drive is operating (it will be warm to the touch and may be making a slight noise). If the hard drive is not working, verify that it is plugged in. If the hard drive is bad, you can replace it with a SATA hard drive. The Lorex system will see the new hard drive and ask you to format it for use with the system.
Its the power supply. Look on eBay as there are several sellers with lorex ac adapters (power supply) just enter ac adapter and you're model # ex...sg19ld800. The 1st six letters and or numbers are important. You may also try Google for a seller, or amazon. Lorex have issues with this component. If dvr, turn the screen saver option under the display section of the set up screen on with the times you want it to automatically turn on/off. You get tons more life.
