Traction Control System (TCS) The traction control system limits wheel spin. The system turns on automatically every time the vehicle is started. . To turn off traction control, press and release (TC) on the instrument panel.
Depends on where the noise came from. Could be a bearing in one of the accessory pulleys locked up, or a long list of other things. You would loose power steering as soon as the engine dies.
You should notice a looped strap of cloth next to the head rest at the top of the seat. That is the release for the seatback lock. Simultaneously pull up on the strap and pull the head rest forward to fold the seat forward. The seats are split 60/40, so each seat has its own release looped strap.
