Most likley the SMPS (switch mode power supply) has a short in that circuit.. the more times you replace the fuse the more damage you cause. need to take it to a tv repair shop for this problem.

I have a rca tv model# led65g55r120q the power went out and now my tv won't come on not even led light in front does anyone have any ideal what might have happen

A power surge hit the TV most likely, remove the back if your comfortable doing it and there will be a fuse close to the power plug, I'm guessing its blown, you can replace it but I think it will blow again, may need a new power board unless your able to troubleshoot it yourself, as chances are the bridge rectifier is shorted and needs replacing

After a power outage, the tv wont turn back on. was hoping there is a fuse that may have blown.

Hi Michael,
Yes there is a fuse in your TV too and sometimes you do escape with a blown fuse after a power outage. Please open if you can the back cover of your TV, locate the fuse. If you do not see any damaged or blown parts, replace the fuse with the same rating. If the works, enjoy watching. If the fuse blows again, the power board needs to be repaired or replaced.
Good luck.

The power went off and wen it came back on the tv wont turn back on

If your power outage wad caused by a surge your tv may have died. Check fusebox for tripped circuit breaker also check tv wall plug fuse in case that has blown. It might be that the tv internal fuse has blown, you should disconnect the tvv from the electricity supply if you intend opening the rear of the set to check this.
If they are all okay the set probably needs the services of a trained technician

Good Luck

Worked fine this morning. Unplugged it to rearrange. Plugged it back in and the green "timer" light flashes and it will not turn on. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill

bill! any time that you have power turn on issues, you should make sure that you have the proper ac supply voltage at the wall outlet. plug in a lamp at the same outlet as the tv set!. if it works unplug the tv set for a few minutes to attempt a reset of a possibly bad turn on relay or power circuit. try turning on the set by the power button on the front panel. then try using the power on the remote control. each time listen for a click of the power relay and static build up for the high voltage circuits. if you have niether! unplug the set and open up the back bottom panel and check for a open fuse any where on the the circuit board. now bill put on some rubber dish washing gloves before you attempt to replace any fuses upon reaching onto the circuit board suface area. there is a danger of electric shock! at the projector picture tubes an the flyback tranformer areas. if you find any blown fuses and intend to replace them, they must be replaced with ones of the same voltage and amperage rating or your could cause a fire and burn up your set or your home. if the fuse at the ac line cord circuit is not blown ,then you have a open on short circuit in the high voltage section of the set. replace the blown fuse and power of the set again, if it should blow the fuse then you need some professional help unless you are familar with testing and changing out the horizontal output transistor in which maybe causing the short.
