Resetting the unit does NOT reset the PIN. Even a Master Reset will not reset the PIN. You have three options for unlocking a PIN locked Garmin:
1 - Enter the correct PIN
2 - Take the unit to the location at which the PIN was entered
3 - Send the unit back to Garmin

This works with devices having physical home button
1. Press the power button and the home button together
for a while, long enough until the screen appears with Android bot and a
progress bar which shows that it's formatting the internal memory.
With NO physical HOME button:-
2. In case your device does not have a physical home button, press the power button and both the volume keys together for few seconds.
3. Press gently the "reset pin-hole" present generally on a side of Tablet. Use a clip-pin or similarly fine thing to gently push inside to reset your device to factory settings.
Note: I Use My Tablet SUNBERRY, and reset my Tablet Turn Off your Tablet and then Press Power + Volume Down (Press up Factory menu Show)
If you use Android 2.2 (Froyo) Press Wipe data / Factory Reset -> Yes, Delete ALL user data -> if Finish press Reboot Now

As far as I am aware, the only way to reset the pin, is to reset the router to factory defaults. You will then have to reconfigure your wireless settings. To reset to factory defaults:
Plug in the router.
1. Locate the small reset button. It is next to the power jack.
2. Use something to push the button, a paper clip works well.
3.Hold the reset switch down for 10 seconds.
4. Wait for the WLAN light to stop blinking. The router is now reset.
To reconfigure the settings on the router, enter 192.168.0.1 into your browser address bar.

3:Touch the "Settings" icon which appears as a wrench.
4:Push the "Restore" button at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation message will appear asking to confirm restoring the Nuvi to factory settings. Push yes to restore the factory settings ............................................................................................ Try this for hard reset .

You should be prompted whether do you really want to erase all user data, or asked if do you really want to start up in maintenance mode. forgot the pin number for the atm and now I have no idea how to reset
it. I tried to press the reset button, but it still refuses to let me
change the pin.
1:remove sticker located at bottom 2. There should be a reset button located to the far right. 3. Hold down the reset button ( at the same time push the power button to the left) hold these for 10 seconds.
We have the same atm/bank for our son. Here's the fix:
1 - push the reset button on the back of the ATM near the battery compartment.
2 - insert the ATM card and press the BALANCE button to change the user name (need to do this before getting to the pin)
3 - enter your childs name and push enter when complete. Cancel will delete an incorrect letter.
4- enter the default pin (1234) - this will bring up the DEPOSIT, WITHDRAWL, BALANCE screen.
5 - Press ENTER and it will show the current/default pin. Input the new pin number you desire and press ENTER again.
did u set up ur own PIN NUMBER? if u did, do a reset, there should be a lil button behind it that u push with a needle or something shart, if not, try using the generic pin codes as ascending from 1 and up or pure zeros or ones.
