I'm not sure of the exact year im going to take a shot at saying late 1970's. I own a Roycraft Truck Camper, We just leave it out at our camping site year long so its not actually in a truck, however we have found that the propane leaks and we dont know how to search for the problem to ifx it. As well as our electricity does work we run our camper off of a 4900 watt generator, but even if we just have a light on the breaker switches itself off. So naturally we are to afraid to use the electricity in our camper and just run everything on an exension cord, which is getting annoying. So what im trying to say is does anybody out there know howi can check and fix both my electrical wiring and propane lines, pretty please.
thanks- ashley
You need to find the propane lines and where ever you have a joint you need to put "snoop" on it. which is basicly soap and water sorry my spelling sucks. anyway you do this with the propane on and whereever you have bubbles you have troubles. you can even check your lines with it. Now yoiur electrical woes can be fixed by tracing your wiring and finding out where you have a short this is when two wires are either touching eachother both of these problems take time and they take some experience. If you mess this up you could blow yourself up. Let me know what you are going to do. I'm worried for you
When i run my generator i'll turn on my lighting and it blows the bulbs(12v).??? except one, the one on the over head range. And that one will go bright and then dim over and over and i'm hearing a clicking sound when it does this in my converter box.The gen.,is'nt it suppose to build my aux. battery, it was but now i can run the gen. for about 30 min. and still get no charge.??? contact at [email protected]. oh this is a 85' rockwood cabover. Thanks big time!
