Printing stops halfway through a page when it prints. I have stopped, restarted, turned it off, turned it back on, restarted the computer, etc. Nothing seems to work. New cartridges.

SOURCE: officejet d135 - "Supply Expired" error message

HP, in order to sell more ink, monitors the expiration date of the cartridges installed. Solution is either to buy a new unexpired cartridge from HP or to disable the date monitoring built in to the printer. This latter is done by removing the button cell located inside the D135 printer on the left hand side or by simply slipping a thin piece of plastic between button cell and metal contact. You will no longer have date function on printer, but it won't object to expired cartridges either.

SOURCE: Printer prints partial page and then stops

We have had the same problem. I have found that if I close all windows not being used on the computer, then try to print the document again the entire document prints. This happens on an older computer we have that doesn't have alot of RAM.

Printer will print a document but when it reaches halfway it stops printing. Only way to finish printing the document is to restart my pc. Why does this happen? Can this problem be resolved?

When you restart your PC does the printing continue from where it had abruptly stopped printing or does the printer print a fresh copy .
In any case the clean the Print Cartridge Carry Assembly Mount Rod and try freeing up more space on your PC hard Disk for spooling the print data

Black smudge streaks on rightside of printed/copied material

Can only be two things the drum or the fuser. More than likely drum they last about 4 toners i think.

Learn the art of getting a page to stop halfway threw printing, you want to stop the page after the drum has put a image on the paper but before paper has gone threw the fuser (hotbit).

Once you have mastered the position correctly by stopping the printing by opening the door and removing drum/toner cartridge, to reveal the paper that is printed but can be rubbed off, we will know if marks are coming from the drum (you will see them) or from the fuser, if print is fine.
