Lamp wont work how can I tell if its the fuse

WELL THE OBD2 PORT ,PIN 16 IS 12VDC RAW POWER AND IF DEAD ITS FUSES IS BLOWN!
OR THE CARS BATTERY IS DEAD.
BATTERY LUGS CLEAN AND TIGHT ,NO RUST.?
WHAT IS WRONG IS NOT TELLING ALL THAT WORKS AND DOES NOT IN BRIEF.

1. Y/N ENGINE RUNS. AND DRIVES.
2. HEAD LAMPS WORK KEY ON OR OFF?
3. RADIO WORKS
4. ALL EXTERNAL LAMPS WORK F/R
5. DASH HEATER BLOWER WORKS ON HIGH?
6. IP CLUSTER LAMPS ALL SEEM TO WORK NORMAL KEY ON.?
7. BRAKE LAMPS WORK AND PARK LAMPS AND TURNS, ?

ELECTRICS ON CARS ARE COMPLEX.
WHAT FAILS AND DOES NOT FAIL IS A HUGE HUGE CLUE TO DISCOVERY
AS IS CHECKING ALL FUSES FIRST.
BATTERY RESTED VOLTAGE IS 12.6VDC IF LOWER IS DISCHARGED.
IF IS LOW, JUMP CABLE JUMP START THE CAR.

Jeep's don't have fuel safety switch , ford does !

did you check for spark?
and check fuses yet>
is the CEL lamp in the dash glowing key on telling you EFI is ready to start or if car has immoblizer is that lamp stuck on?

wont crank
or
wont start.? (but cranks robustly)
fuse warning? no , we check fuse, we never pray the PCM /BCM
will never warn us, because"they dont check them all"
why not post the full symptoms.????
I key on, what happens?, do the warning lamps all glow like the operators manual says? (NO?, fuse blown , fact !)
CEL glows (check engine light glow, ) if CEL is dead so is PCM. (fuse again.)
Do the head lights work , key off (fix that first) ( no? fuse or battery dead)
when you turn the key to start, does the starter motor crank fast?
if not fix that first. (wiggle shifter or try , neutral starts)
if yes crankes, then check for spark.? (google that.)_
if it dont start, i hook up my scan tool ($200 tool) that sees all Jeep codes (key fact that) and then crank for 5 seconds, amazing, it can
tell me, why the ASD dropped out. Sure can.
if the IMMO lamp sticks on, bingo, it will never run.

did you check all fuses yet, (with a meter)
the dash has lamps and tell you if the IMMO is happy or not.
do you know how your IMMO lamp works? if not ask.

the IMMO will cut fuel. (on some cars it allows 1-2 second run times)
if the IMMO is ok, then check spark. next.
every car maker uses there own set of warning lamps
on some cars its a key symbol.
on my new car its just a red dot, to fool thieves.
RTM read your manual. Finding free suzuki manuals etc. is hard.

i could not find any operators guides there, but do post and ask
how the lamps work.

the CEL lamp must glow, or the ECU is dead. (no power)
the CEL is very important lamp telling you the ECU has power
and it thinks(sic) that it is ok, (basics)
if the lamp is burned out, it become hard to work the ECU.
as this ECU flashes codes for errors,
check all fuse. in both boxes.

did you follow all the steps in the FSM for this?
and heed the warnings?
did you shut down the AIR bags first. (battery pull and the 90 second rule) and keep battery pulled whole time?
air bags can kill, and ign. key fiddling is #1 here.
i bet you did not pull the battery as the FSM directs and you blew the fuses. or worse.
do you have the IMMO , immoblizer option, is the IMMO dash lamp
telling you, its ACTIVE, that is, IMMOBILized? bingo
the IMMO lamp tells you , im ok, at key on, and then tells you Im off or on. the operators guide covers this lamp, lost your guide?

the IMMO cuts fuel , not cranking in most cars.
Does the CEL glow key on, if not the ECU is dead, blown fuse #1 reason.

This sounds obvious, but first things first. Replace the bulbs, and check the tail lamp fuse. Usually if the tail lamp fuse is blown, your dash illumination will also not work. They put them on the same fuse because you really never see your tail lamps while you are driving, and if your dash lights are out, it will alert you to a problem.

is it a seperate fuse ??
if its not the fuse check that the wires are connected ok!
Is there power at the switch ??

sounds like you have burnt through the insulation of two or more cables and they are fused together in the loom .Start looking from radio back
