if unlucky lost its serial number sticker from petrol spill/heat

if lucky something stamped into the alloy housing of assembly

most mower repair shops can track down sample parts without the serial number

a factory limit of hours on blowers are as little as 100 hours

unless it came with the user book from new purchase
you may never know

In Search by Product selected Chain Saw

In Search by Keyword I typed serial number and clicked Search.

Choose item 1, cursor down to Chain Saws.

If done correctly a nifty diagram appears with pictures displaying where to find the serial on specific models.

I could have done this much easier but this way you get a feel for how to interact with the Echo site.

if you are using stihl oil then the mix is 50:1

Some ES-210 units have been recalled, yes. It does not appear that the recall affects your particular serial number. However, more info is available from the ECHO-USA website, found HERE.
If in doubt, use the "DEALER LOCATOR" link and call your nearest location.

Then when the next page comes up type "HC-1500" and click search.
Now this is important: You have to keep track of your serial number, your model number and
your engine type.
Even when your looking for parts such as the ignition coil keep track of your serial number.

When you pull the side bar down you'll find the different manuals you can copy. I hope this helped.
