hp LaserJet P4015: 05 4015 08
hp LaserJet P4515: 05 4515 08
depends on which model you have, choose the correct code above. These are the HP numbers but I do not think that Troy changes them when they install the MICR upgrade.
I use this on a HP 8150 I think it is Aust.version of you machine from the look of it
lpr -S 100.100.10.111 -P raw -o c:\temp\output.ps

If not aligned, just turn is off the printer and turn it on. It will self align the cartridge.
If not, turn it off the printer again and unplug the power cord. Use your finger to move the ink catridge from left side and after move it to right side of the printer.
Plug the power cable and turn it on again. Just print again. I will be working by now.
There is a counter in the printer that lets you know it is time to perform printer maintenance. Each model has a maintenance kit that may contain a fuser, drum, etc. You can run the printer as is and it will still work but for best results you may want to purchase a maintenance kit from an HP dealer.
If the toner in the machine is NOT MIRC it will not work in a MIRC printer. Get the correct toner cartridge or get a NON MICR printer to put your toner in. MICR uses a special toner (magnetic) for printing checks and the printer is usually modified at the factory (troy or others) to make it print using MICR toner. No way around it.
My name is Brian McMillen and I am a Technical Support Representative with TROY Group, Inc. The problem is that the MICR Toner Wire was placed into the wrong jumper position on the TROY Font Card. By moving it to the other jumper, this should clear your 'Invalid Toner Sense State' Error. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact me at 800-633-2266 x 218 or vial email to [email protected].
It is possible that the printer is somehow waiting for a firmware upgrade file. If you power off the printer and remove the TROY Font DIMM, then power on, does the issue message still appear? If it does not then the problem could be the TROY Font DIMM. If it does then I would look at the Formatter. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact me by calling 800-633-2266 x 218 or via email to [email protected].
