If the reset does not work after removing power from the dishwasher, then the next thing to try is to press the Start or Reset button to reset the dishwasher. Press for about 10 seconds.

Based off what you have described you need the reset code for your Frigidaire dishwasher, FFBD2406NS0A. I was unable to locate a specific code for your dishwasher. The best way to reset your washer is to disconnect power from it for roughly ten minutes and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Try pressing "Heated Dry" followed by "Normal Wash" followed by "Heated Dry" followed by "Normal Wash" and then "Cancel"

Unscrew and remove the kickplate at the very bottom of the dishwasher. The tech sheet with the diagnostic code should be attached to the back of it.  If not, due a websearch and you should be able to find the info on yahoo or google.

After leaving the dishwasher locked with the error code still showing, I returned to find that it had reset itself and run through the full cycle.
Problem solved itself.

Yup, found it on another site..I had the same issue today.

Reset code: Push 1. Heat Dry 2. Normal 3. Heat Dry 4. Normal

wait about 2 minutes as the controller resets itself. You should see all the leds flash on and then wash and rinse leds stay on for about 30 seconds. A minute or so later ..presto, my machine worked again.

My machine is not the GU3200XTP, but in the same Whirlpool tall tub series (same manual) so leds may not have the same name.
