SOURCE: CMOS Battery do no work

Just change your CMOS battery with a new one and after that goto the bios settings and update the time and dare.
After that just save the settings and then check that the warning message is coming or not.

If its coming then it means you need to change the CMOS jumper settings.

Why there is no power of foxconn motherboard g31

Many potential reasons--unfortunately including motherboard DOA, mem DOA, CPU DOA.

Sometimes, even a mere bum PCI-E I/O card will halt function completely, too! Removing such a card may restore nominal function.

Is the heatsink installed correctly--with the correct amount of thermal paste? Is the fan connected to the motherboard fan connectors? Is the secondary power connector from the power supply connected? It's the power connector which fits a special motherboard socket of 4 or 8 pins--that's in addition to the main connector with 20- or 24-pins. (This is not a high-powered PCI-E video card dedicated-power connector!)

No Displays or No Boot Up or Start Up on the Foxconn Winfast 6150K8MA-8EKRS

Always start with power. Is the computer getting the correct amount of power?

Power supply should be checked to see if the three main voltages are okay. 3.3 Volt, 5 Volts, and 12 Volts, (DC), power rails.

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html

1) If ALL of the LED lights were on at once they would use less than 1 Watt of power.

2) EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts.

3) A typical Processor can use from 51 to 125 Watts. Just depends on what Processor it is.

Power Supply's three main voltages check out? Check the Electrolytic Capacitors on the motherboard,

Hi i have a P4M800P7MA-ERS2H foxconn M/B that powers up but nothingelse -doesnt boot how can i tell if its a cpu or motherboard fault ty warren

Normally the only way to be sure is to use a CPU that you know works in another computer and test it in the motherboard that is not working. Also make sure that everything is connected to the motherboard properly and you can try disconnecting everything except CPU, RAM, video, and power to see if the computer boots like that.

I have a foxconn p4m800p7ma motherboard everything is connected but it will only blink the lights twice when i hit the ON switch and the cpu fan spins for a second then stops.is this a dead motherboard?or...

Hi,

There could be many things that could stop the board from turning on, Determining what is wrong is like detective work. What I do, is take everything off the board to start. Then add the minimum to start a board to see if it will start. That's one drive (cd or otherwise) the CPU, and one bank of memory. (that's not a required eliminate, but it helps avoid beep codes) Also, make sure you have your pin's set on the board absolutely correct, or that could be your problem to begin with. Also, if your going to load a ide drive, make sure you set your pin setting correctly on it. Now, you should get the power supply on, and the cpu. If those don't power up, it's then either one of the five elements. The CPU, Power supply, Ram, Drive, or the motherboard. The next step is to replace each one of the first four with another to see if you get any change. Also, on the drive, try a different cable to make sure it's not that, If no change, then I usually get another board that I can test the first four, and make sure that they work. If after that and you have tested all of the components and they all work, then it's save to say you have a Dead Board
.
Good Luck and don't forget to leave a rating.
Thanks

Installation of foxconn 45cmx

Hi aligmatos, it is suggested that you use a 24-pin main power connector if you are going to fill up the motherboard & use a PCI-Express graphics card & Dual-Core Pentium CPU. The power supply should not be less than a 450W for this board, 550W would be better. You can use a 20-pin main connector but its not suggested. Make sure you connect the 4-pin 12V power connector. Your motherboard should still function with a 20-pin main power connector. Again I would not suggest it.
Main web site for Foxconn 45CM-S

Search preformed for Recommended power wattage for foxconn 45CM-S motherboard.

Good luck aligmatos!
