Extra blank sheet of paper between printed pages

Every time I print a document, a blank page shoots out. If it's a multiple page document, a blank sheet comes out between every printed page.

Check your print settings, it is possible that you enable page seporator in the settings.

I have Win 8.1and psc 2210 all-in-one, mine did the extra page thing until I disabled "allow manual Duplexing" in "Device settings" in "printer properties" not the regular properties at the bottom of the right click window, but "printer properties" half way up. way up.

Will not print from the computer to the printer. I brought up a picture and pushed print and it just pulled in the paper and it was blank

* Check your warranty. Call for support.

*** Following is for information only.***
* Brand, Model for specific solutions.
* Computers and printers perform many functions.
* Just printing B/W documents are a thing of the past.
* Just printing a document requires the user to identify:
* Size of paper to be used. A4, 5x8", 8x10, banner, etc.
* Quality of paper; Plain, semi gloss, bright white, photo, etc.
* Orientation of document or picture; Portrait or Landscape
* Multiple copy.
* Size of document; Standard paper, Multiple (expanded) poster, Shrink (Reduced to fit page), Reduced to wallet size., etc.
* Color shift (effects) Print in grey scale.
* Print in reverse for T-shirt transfers or window posters.
* many more options depending on the printer. (some print on cakes)
* The point is that these or most of these have to be set up by the user EACH TIME you need to print something. The printer may be set for poster sized pictures but you just want to print a simple letter. This poster setting (depending on how many sheets per poster) may be the upper right corner of the document is blank. It did print but it started in an area that does not have anything to print.
* Another issue with printing (more common) is how many sheets are you printing. Depending on your CPU speed, each page needs to be processed (rendered) to be accepted by the printer. My Lenovo ideapad takes 2-3 mins to render 1 page. Printing 15 pages (or copy) takes over 30 mins to render before it prints the first sheet.
* Which order of print? Was the last page printed first? Is the last page blank?
* Wireless printers also take time to transfer data to the print buffer. This is also depends on your router or WiFi speed. (or network)
* To check your setup use the "Preview" option. Not how the document is pictured on the printed sheet. Pre-view saves on wasting paper on miss prints due to incorrect settings.
* Check your printer manual on setting up for a specific paper, document size, quality, and other issues.
Aloha, ukeboy57

PS, the issue of lost connection (WiFi) will stop the print. Eject the last page (partial print). Some machines will eject page only after a restart or reset.
* Perform a "Test Print" using the printer test mode (to check if the printer is out of ink.)
* Perform a print of a single page letter from the computer to test the connection to printer.
* Use the computer to check the printer app. look at the ink levels. Perform a system check of the printer operations.

Reading no paper paper tray is full

Instructions
  1. Check the display for an error message. If the display reads "Clearing paper from printer," the engine has detected a jam and is attempting to eject the jammed pages automatically. These pages will often be blank.
  2. Check the display for "Performing PRINT/STOP TEST" or "Performing SERVICE TEST." Either of these messages indicates that the printer is going through a test procedure that may eject blank pages.
  3. Reduce the amount of paper in the input tray if the printer is feeding multiple blank sheets at a time. The printer will pull extra pages through if the input tray is overfilled.
  4. Replace the paper in the input tray with the correct size if needed. If the 4600 printer detects the paper as an incorrect size for the print job, it may eject the paper without printing anything on it.
  5. Replace the ink cartridges if certain colors are blank on the page. Replace the black cartridge if printing a black text document that is coming out blank. The printer may attempt to print even if the ink level is low or empty, but will unable to print anything on the page, causing it to come out blank.
  6. Remove the sealing tape from newly installed cartridges. The tape covers the print heads and should be removed before installing the cartridges. If the tape is left on, it will prevent ink from getting on the pages as they print.
  7. Press the "Check mark" button on the control panel to enter the printer menu. Run a diagnostic so the printer can attempt to determine the cause of the blank pages printing. Press the up or down arrow to select "Diagnostics." Press the "Check mark" button. Press the "Down" arrow to highlight "PQ Troubleshooting." Press the "Check mark" button. The printer runs a diagnostic and returns to a ready state when done.

HP Deskjet 5150 print is too small

Printers try to fit web pages on a single sheet of paper. If you configure the printer, in the print dialog, not to shrink images and text to fit the paper, it will print on multiple sheets of paper, but the correct size for the images and text.

In a Word document, it depends on what font size you have selected. Most people would rather have the web page print on a single sheet, with smaller images and text than were on the monitor; than tape together multiple sheets for 100% size printout.

Printer prints first page with strange nonsensical characters

I would move the printer to another computer. See if the problem follows. I have seen the issue a few times with issues in normal.dot but also in other office applications.

Problem I'm fighting with on my 1720 is its printing extra pages between pages. basically print a 5 page document and get an 8/9 page final with the extra blank pages. Think its a user error but could be machine related. going to try it on another PC and see what happens.

HP IIIp prints extra blank pages

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.

Hope this helps
Thanks J
