My k9 car alarm system has a kill switch and somehow was activated while I was driving today. It makes a knocking sound except for when I have the key in the ignition turned on or if i push a button in my car and I can't get my car to turn on anymore. How do I deactivate the kill switch or how do I take it out?

Usually if you unplug the after market alarm system it will let you start and drive your vehicle.

I guess doing at your own is pretty dangerous for your car lock/alarm system. Rather that doing at your own you should call locksmith guy to fix it. You can see the website locksmith in san francisco and follow the manual guide of car lock system. Or you can call company's owner to fix this issue.

Key alarm sounds even after key is removed. Drained battery.

Make sure your Battery is fully charged. A partially charged Battery can make the alarm system malfunction. Also, make sure the
regulator is charging the Battery. Some key alarm systems can
and will drain your battery if the Car is rarely driven especially
if there is a ignition kill switch wired into the system. The key alarm
system on my Mercedes 560SL used to drain my battery whenever
I didn't drive the car enough.

My K9 alarm is silent. I am not hearing the noise when I open the doors are close them. How can I activate this feature again?

Is the LED indicator illuminated steady (not flashing)? If it is, than the system is in valet mode. In order the turn off valet mode, you need to press and release the valet button once. The LED should turn off and you will be able to operate the security system.

How to turn kill switch off and see manual and instructions

I am assuming that you want to disable the system temporarily by putting it in valet mode. You will need to locate the valet button; they are usually installed under the dash within reach of the driver. The button should be black and about 1/2" in diameter.
Pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds while the alarm is disarmed will put the system into valet mode. The system will turn the LED light on steady and chirp the siren to indicate that valet mode has been activated. To exit valet mode, press and release the button. The LED will turn off and the siren will chirp to indicate that you have exited valet mode.

You need to adjust the tachometer sensing wire, it usually wraps around a spark plug wire so I can sense when the car starts. On my spy alarm, the wire was grey. Hope this helps.

2000 hyundai elantra alarm goes off where is the

There is NO kill switch on the 2000 Elantra... HOWEVER, there is a thing called the Key Fob (keyless remote entry system). There is, however, a system in place called the 'starter kill' circuit and it is activated when the burglar alarm goes off.... it's called the burglar alarm relay and it is activated to prevent the engine starter system from being used. There are three ways to get the engine started in such a circumstance... 1. use the key fob to 'disarm' the system... 2. put the key in the ignition and turn it to the 'RUN" position and wait until the alarm stops (horn stops beeping and the parking lights stop flashing), then the engine will start.... 3. pull the starter relay from the UnderHood junction box and bypass the starter circuit (key in ignition and in the 'RUN' position), jumper the starter solenoid circuit to energize the solenoid to start cranking the engine -- it should start then.
