Excell Pressure Washer EXHA2425-1 has no pressure. Replaced pump with a new oiled pump from APW Distributing (PW24/2.3L Replacement Pump). After installing the new pup and using the existing wand still no pressure. Replaced the wand with a Blue Hawk 4000 PSI Pressure washer gun kit, still no pressure. Only thing I haven't replaced is the hose with is not suspect at this point. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

My Excell Pressure Washer XR 2750 won't start. I believe it's a timing problem. How can I solve this problem?

You'll need to know who manufactured the motor (Honda, Briggs & Stratton, etc) along with the model and serial number. With that information, you can do an online search for small engine repair manuals and retrieve the specs for you particular motor.
You can even call your local outdoor power equipment repair shop, they'll provide you answers to your questions.

I have a ic2 pump on my pressure washer, the diagrams have failed. My question is I need the parts to repair it, or how to purchase a replacement.

You can purchase a complete unit from Grainger for about $210.00. Their part number is 6UZP8. And in most cases they are located locally, so you can pick it up and be back in business quick. The pump is actually manufactured by Excell Power, so my thought would be replace the pump and then try to find a rebuild kit for the bad pump and try to rebuild it as a backup. Hope this helps.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly
First here is the owders manual:
http://www.excellpressurewasher.com/documents/pdf/D30494-E.pdf

There are 3 versions of the VR2500 Pressure Washer.

1 being the VR2500 Type 0 It has the comet pump that needs no oil
2 being the VR2500 Type 1 Also with the comet pump.
3 being the VR2500-C Again with the coment pump

The allen set screws that you removed hold the bearings in place.

The only pump maintence required is winterization with either a winterizer EX80 or RV anti-freeze

PUMP

The manufacturer recommends using

a pump protector/winterizer, such as

EX80, when storing the unit for more

than 30 days and/or when freezing

temperatures are expected. If a pump

protector/winterizer is not available,

*RV antifreeze needs to be run through

the pump as outlined in the steps
below.

EXCell does make units that have an AR pump that requires pump oil. The VR2500 pump does not.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Excell r 2522 presure washer pump rebuild

I like http://www.ppe-pressure-washer-parts.com/excell-vr2522-replacement-parts-pump See pump upgrade and compare to rebuilding. Another good site is www.pressure-washer-parts.com. Piston seals usual begin by overheating from excessive idling. You might add a thermostatic relief valve to help this.

I have excell 3700 pressure washer...the pump cover vibrated loose lost oil and cam melted.how do i get parts and change pum cam?

When you get down to it, purchacing oil end parts for a pressure washer is not cost effective.

The crank(cam) shaft runs about 280.00 dollars. The oil seals, new bearings, possibly new pistons and almost definatly new seals would be at least a hundred more. You can get a new pump for about 400 dollars and won't have to do all the work.

check the water filter ---high pressurehose must have bbackpressure to develop pressure so disconecting it wont acheive ,much ,if you have agood water supply ,oil in the pump--- adjust pressure by srewing the brass fitting that the pressure hose attachesto, down that is clock wise a couple of turns or so and see if that makes a difference if not seals in the pumpmay be gone tha t should show by water in the oil

Excell VR2522 Pressure washer - sudden loss in pressure.

Leaving the engine running for more than two minutes without releasing pressure trigger causes aluminum pump to overheat and causing damage to the purmp, resulting in sudden low pressure. (see page 9 in manual)

No pump pressure

Sounds like the diaphragm in the pump unit has failed, the engine and the pump are two seperate things the engine only operates the pump but if the diaphragm is leaking or broken you wont get any pressure
