I can only think there is dust on the lens of your DVD Player.
Have you got a CD/DVD Lens Cleaner disk ?
If not you are going to have to get one! that are not dear, and once you get it. You add the solution to the hairs on the disk then pop it in your player and put it to the track that it says to you via your TV speaker etc.
Once that is done you should be able to watch your DVD's and relax.
Make sure you have a non home made DVD. Some DVD players will not play DVD'S in certain formats.
If you have a normal DVD in the DVD player and are getting "NO Disk" then there is a real good possibility the lens is just so dirty that it is not recognizing your DVD at all. This happens a lot to all disk players that are neglected from the cleaning process. Get a disk player cleaner and run it through a few times until the disk is read again. Sometimes the lens is so dirty you have to try a few times just to get the cleaner disk itself to play just to do the actual cleaning. Make sure to run that cleaner disk through once a week. These disk cleaners "sweep" the lens and work well. You can get one at your local Best Buy for $8usd.
The last thing it could be is that somehow the lens has come out of alignment. Just a millimeter out of alignment is all it takes to not be able to read a disk and DVD players get bumped and knocked off the shelf easy. So this can happen often especially with the more smaller travel DVD player.

I would give it a good cleaning with a disk player cleaning. Those disks have little bristles on them that "sweep" the lens and clean it real well. Remember that if the lens is so dirty that it won't play any DVD you may need to run that cleaner disk a few times to get the lens back to normal working condition.
A lens cleaner disk should be ran one time a week to avoid problems with playing disks be it CD or DVD or Computer.
Sometimes players go bad so keep in mind this could be the problem as well but I have had the DVD player in my garage get so dirty I had to clean it a few times to get it to work normal.
your player did not read multi disk or maybe the lens is not clean try to clean it with dvd disk cleaner first or check the disk for some scratches causing problem
The following suggestion may or may not fix your DVD reader.
You can put a CD/DVD cleaner disk to put into your TV to clean the laser’s eye.The best cleaner disks have the “whisker” that protrudes from the disk and have a fluid you put on the whiskers to aid in the cleaning.Read the cleaner’s directions before using.
You will want to put this disk in your TV at least at three different times to maximize the cleaning.
After you have completed the cleaning, unplug the TV for about 3 minutes.Plug the TV back in and try a non scratched DVD in your TV to see if the cleaning has fixed your problem.
If the TV takes a long time to read the disks and or the TV is not able to read the disks, then the DVD assembly has failed. You could purchase a replacement DVD assembly and install it yourself if you think you are up to it.You just have to remove the stand, the back of the unit, and the old DVD assembly.
I hope this information has helped you.
Good Luck.
Your best bet is to clean the lens with a commercial lens cleaner for DVD/CD. If that doesn't work the problem could get more expensive to repair, and since DVD players are cheaper to buy (some) than repair, you might want to consider that as an option.
