ok you have defective power supply at the hot side section! and maybe you have defective oscillation circuit thats why your TV is not starting up! check the hot side section if they have B+ supply! then trace it up from the chopper transformer to flyback! maybe you have defective fusibol resistors.

No. There is no sound either. Just a black screen like the tv is off, but the red power light is blinking instead of on like it usually suppose to be. Basically the tv wont power on. I already checked all the connections and they're good.

My TV is on HDMI mode and for the last couple of days I have had a black box in the top left corner of the TV. I read that the problem could be Closed Caption Text related, but I also read that in HDMI mode there's no such a thing as CC. Can anyone help me? I also checked to see if it was a CC issue, but it's set on OFF. I also tried PiP (Picture in Picture) but that doesn't fix my issue either. Thank you
Where does power cable go in TV?
Someone had put a blanket on top of our Panasonic Plasma tv so the light would not bother their eyes while trying to sleep. The tv was on a timer and turned off and now it will not turn back on. I am thinking the blanket may have shocked the tv however I am not certain. Help!!

We had a bass box sitting underneath the tv for a sound system that we also would unplug from tv to use with cell phone. All of a sudden most of the screen went black except for like 2 inches on each side of screen can barely be seen. Come to find out one of the kids plugged the cable into the wrong spot on the tv and it was feeding into the tv instead of tv feeding sound to the system. That is when the screen went black.
