These are not available. If you want a repair you will need to go to one of the RCA authorised repairers.

Basically I would toss it and get something else because it is not worth repairing IMHO.

(Just a tip. Don't by this brand again. They are notoriously unreliable. Buy Panasonic and you will get many years of trouble free use. With electronics you usually get what you pay for).

sounds like a bad display (screen going out)?

A complete model number would help with giving advice or an answer.

After the screen goes black, do you still have sound or you have none but a blank screen? If you have no picture and sound does the power LED in front of the tv indicate that the set is on, or does it go into standby? Please provide this info so that I can help you with your problem.

sounds like the sceen is dead, if you are receiving nothing on screen, then it sounds like either a component and/or screen is gone... however, check the tv input to make sure it wasnt acidentally switched to an input channel with nothing selected... if that does not work, call local tv repair or mfg customer service tech. if under warranty, have repaired or replaced. without physically seeing tv, it is hard to diagnose issue outside of information given. could be simple board replacement or could be screen.. but check input first, if a dvd player plays, then it could be just component or input on wrong selection

I unplugged the tv for 5 minutes. When I turned it back on, I had sound!

Just recently, I was told how to get another tv.
You find a good TV service centre and ask them to fix it. If they cant you take the work order from your tv sc and call 1-877-297-8391.
You will get yourself a tv

so is this sound on the tv or a sound system
