My outdoor thermometer transmitter was sending hhh instead of the current temperature. I opened it up a bit and sprayed it with compressed air (Ultra Duster or similar product) to clean the temperature sensor. It has worked fine since then.

I just put new Energizer batteries in both the outdoor and indoor units. Followed directions. The receiver is displaying HH when I ask for the high.

Very likely you have high pressure in your area. HHH means that the pressure is higher than the unit can read. Check local barometer readings to confirm.

Maverick et 72 remote thermometer when it is turned on it reads HHH

If the receiver and/or the transmitter display LLL or HHH instead of the probe temperature,
wait for probe to reach room temperature. If LLL or HHH is still displayed it is likely the
internal probe wire has shorted out either through moisture or heat damage.

Remote Weather Station shows "HHH"

This means that the read is over the HIGH limit of the sensor, perhaps is too hot there. Change it to another location. josemaX
