I can not access my Touro 3.0 mobile hard drive

Need to go to Touro hard drive web site and download a driver for Mac. probably the driver you have is for windows or your USB
Is bad.

Hi can you hear any spinning whirring noise?
This could be a cable fault or the drive itself could be faulty.
You can download Hiren Software on USB to test the drive with the software

go on line for your model and down load the driver or if in windows add the machine and let windows search and down load the driver for you.

open the case , take out the drive , attache it to a computer internally ,youll need a cable or borrow you cd's cable, turn drive on in the bios to see drive ,save , boot an let windows load it , now does it come up as a drive letter an can you scan fix it . right clik that letter , properties , scan an fix. now thats assuming the drives have windows compatible sectoring an software that formatted it for your data to hold on it.
if you get an error before you get into windows then the drive has likely died in one of many ways.

What error messages are you seeing, if any? Does Apple OS recognize it at all? Also, did you format the drive on a windows computer? How about deleting the partition and plug it back into the macbook so the macbook can set it up for you. If you plug it into the windows machine, what messages did you get from that?

I contacted Hitachi support, no solution. They say we should return and exchange the disk with a new model that supports Windows 8.
Very very fustrating.

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.
ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000


Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

Check the supported movie files that can be played on that tv then look at the file and see what type of file it is. I recommend using MP4, WMA or AVI files

Simple you have no enough power, (AND/OR) The connecting controller is damaged, return the product immediatly and ask for a refund or exchange to seagate / maxtor.. since most of the HDD of your brand are defected I personally have the same problem here, except that my controller is dead.

Hi,try to use other usb cable,and insert it also to other usb port of your computer.But if its still not working..go to my computer right click..see the manage,..see the disk management..there you found your hard disk but if doesnt appear on it..it means that your har disk was dead or defective already..thanks
