This is likely to be an electrical fault. I would suggest contacting LG to see what can be done - if you have had the item for less than a year, they should replace/repair the phone for free.

Turn the phone off. Take the battery out then remove your sim card. Before reinstalling the battery hold the power on botton down for about 15 seconds. Replace the sim card then the battery and power the phone on. If this does not fix the problem and you can access the setup menu for the phone restore the setting to factor defaults. hi, it is very possible to unlock it permanently or increase the time..all you need to do is to go to setting on your phone...check your phone setting, then try to locate your automatic key guard....you could increase the time or you select off..
