Hi,

First of all I would backup your data through itunes/icloud.
Open up settings - general - Reset, On this screen, you'll be presented with a number of reset options, ranging from just resetting all the iPhone 4's settings to resetting its dictionary or homescreen layout. The factory reset option is Erase All Content and Settings. If you're sure you want to factory reset your iPhone. It will generally take a minute or two to factory reset the iPhone, but when the process is done, you'll have a brand-new, pristine iPhone ready for whatever your next step is.

Hope this helps

How to factory reset iphone 4 withouw icloud password?

It's quite easy. You can resort to iTunes to reach this aim. Just follow below steps.

iTunes enables you to restore iPhone 6 Plus to factory settings. Before you start restoring iPhone to factory settings, please note that you need to install the latest version of iTunes on your PC or MAC. Then go to Settings > iCloud to turn off Find My iPhone. Now, you can factory reset your iPhone 6 Plus with iTunes as follows.
1. Plug iPhone 6 Plus into the computer with the USB cable. The iTunes on your computer will automatically launch. If not, double-click the icon to start it.
2. Click the name of your iPhone 6 Plus at the upper right corner of iTunes, and then the information of your iPhone 6 Plus will be shown. Click the "Restore iPhone" button in the window to start.
3. iTunes will ask whether you want to back up iPhone 6 Plus before restoring. You'd better choose "Yes" for the reset will erase the contents in your iPhone 6 Plus. Then iTunes will start restoring your iPhone 6 Plus to factory settings.

3. Click Restore again to confirm. Then iTunes erases your iPhone 6 Plus and installs the latest iOS software. After you restore your iPhone 6 Plus to factory settings, it will restart. Now you can set it up as new.

I purchased a phone from someone and i dont know there icloud or itunes pass word . i need to swap all info from phone to other phone

There is software on the market available to do a complete back-up without the itunes/icloud password, however that is the recomended of doing it as you will recieve support from Apple if extremely nessasary, but i would only ring Apple if all else fails ($25 support charge) for help with resetting lost passwords or forgoten Apple ID then click this link https://iforgot.apple.com

Find data back from iTunes backup because when you have synced your iPhone with iTunes, your iPhone data and files are to be automatically backed up. If you cant access the data or backup file follow http://www.apple.com/iphone/ and Apple Customer Support .

Need to change the id on my apple iphone4

Reset iPhone to Factory Defaults.

  1. Begin the process, if possible, by backing up the data on your iPhone 4. Do this by syncing the phone (each time you sync, it creates a backup). This lets you save all your data and settings to restore to the phone after the reset.
  2. When that's done, locate the Settings app on your iPhone homescreen. If you've rearranged your apps, locate it wherever you put it. Tap the icon.
  3. Scroll down to the General menu. Tap it.
  4. Scroll all the way to the bottom to the Reset menu. Tap it.
  5. On this screen, you'll be presented with a number of reset options, ranging from just resetting all the iPhone 4's settings to resetting its dictionary or homescreen layout. The factory reset option is Erase All Content and Settings. If you're sure you want to factory reset your iPhone 4, tap it.
  6. You'll see a warning reminding you that you'll be erasing all music, other media, data, and settings if you do this. If that's not what you want to do, tap Cancel. Otherwise, tap Erase iPhone.
  7. It will generally take a minute or two to factory reset the iPhone, but when the process is done, you'll have a brand-new, pristine iPhone ready for whatever your next step is.
