Description

ATDC Sensor Failure
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is less than 7 % while the IU Motor is turning.
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is more than 19 % while the IU Motor is turning.

Remedy

1 Check the UN2 connector for proper connection and correct as necessary. 2 Remove the Developing Unit from the IU, and then replace UN2. 3 Run F8. 4 Change PWB-A. 5 Change PU1N.

Check the transfer roller located across from the drum

Just reset the pc life and run F8, code 2557 will reset. You will reset the pc life while the right door is open or else anoying buzzer will come everytime you turn ON the sw. I hope you know the right procedures on resetting pc counters. Then add little toner on developer and run F8. Some tricks you have to do in here.... Little dark copies are expected but after a week or two the copies will surely great!

This is form the service manual, The meaning is developer material or the worst case you should change the entire ATDC sensor.

You must press Utylity/Counter next open on screen admin setting. (Pass is 12345678) next network setting, IP setting and you can set IP address. If network (card, cable, switch or router) are OK you can print on your Develop. Driver you find on www.develop.de or http://www.konicaminolta.eu/en/business-solutions/support/download-center.html

main board problem

Error c2557 means ATDC sensor abnormality.Most probably the developer is very low or weak in such condition.Check the developer.You can also increase ATDC GAIN in technical representative mode in order to get rid of this problem.
Also check the PC life/consumables life in "Counter"---"Special Parts life counter".Check if the life of PC Drum is 100% or near to 100 ten clear its value by pressing "C" button.Clear all counters to zero value.Now restart the machine and run F8.It will run smoothly.If you are replacing new developer then there would be no problem with it.

this code means that the time has come to replace its parts, i mean some parts of imaging unit.its the code of a sensor.

This code happens if you replace drum without replacing developer. Both must be replaced at same time.
