I hooked up an aux cable to my KDC-MO4028 but the aux input option is not coming up as an option for one of the sources.

Hi David,

A decent info page for this radio and options is at Crutchfiled. They seems to provide good / very good information on all the products they sell. Service and pricing is up to you. To use Aux inputs, you need to purchase and connect the optional Aux Input Adapter (picture below).

Crutchfield sells these for about $20, and they plug into the jack on the rear of the radio. The jacks on the cables attached to the radio are preamp outputs - not inputs; and will not work as an input.

Here's a link to the manual (free download). Good luck!

Cannot assess my aux input on kdc 237

  • Selecting the (SRC) button to "AUH" which is the auxiliary input.
  • If this does not work.
  • Then set the unit to standby mode. By pressing the (SRC) button until "STBY" is displayed. You need to check that "On AUH" is enabled. Now try the "AUH" again.

I CANT FIND THE AUX INPUT SORCE ON MY KDC-MP435U CD PLAYER

You need to go into the menu and actually switch the aux to on. If you have your owners manual it will tell you how to turn it on. It is under the menu option "built in auxiliary input setting" If you do not have the manual i have a link to it for you. Hope this helps.

AUX input won't work

The red and white RCA terminals on the back of the unit are generally outputs for amplifiers. To use AUX the unit will need to have a 3.5mm jack in the front or rear. If not than the unit does not have AUX input capabilities.

KDC-MP522

Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
