SOURCE: Need to set time on WalMart TGHK watch.

If its digital that makes it more difficult to give setting directions online. Need to know the exact model #. I would do a google search to try and find your watch and you might find a manual online. OR you could seek out a local watch repair business and they should be able to set it with no problems. Most Sears have a watch repair kiosk in their stores! I woudlnt take it back to Walmart because they are just sales people! They have limited watch knowledge!

Good luck!

SOURCE: configuring time, date etc for my O.T.S watch

http://www.worldofsportwatch.com/en/product-3315.html
This is a link to a website that has OTS watches on it. Click on the OTS watch you have and there is a manual selection. The instructions are a bit hazy but basically you have to press the mode button 3 times, the reset button to get to what you want to change, and then the start button as many times as needed to change it to what you want. I finally corrected my watch time and date using it. Thankfully!

I want to know if this is fake or real BVLGARI CALIBRO 303

Feel the weight of the watch - is it heavy? Examine the watch carefully - does it look like a top quality item? Is the watch casing as well finished on the back as on the front? Look very carefully at the dial - is the lettering crisply printed on it? A quality manufacturer like Bulgari would not produce a watch with a face that was anything less than perfect - no smudged lettering, no glue residues , no misaligned batons and no spelling mistakes.
Where did you get the watch? - if it was bought on an auction site for way below it's true worth then it's almost certainly fake.

However, if you obtained it from a reputable source, look on the side of the watch case - each watch is individually numbered.
Also, on the back you will see an engraved emblem. It will either be the Enigma or Bvlgari emblem. Engraved around the emblem is "Created by Gianni Bvlgari Swiss Made" and a model marker.
The inside of the clasp is also engraved Enigma on one side and the Enigma hologram on the other. The face of the watch has the Enigma logo, the word ENIGMA and the word Geneve inscribed on it.

I think, though, the fact that you're asking at all probably means you already know the answer.

R ingraved on back

A personalized engraving on the back of a watch case means nothing as far as its authenticity is concerned. Think about it an engraving can be done at any time after the manufacture of the watch is completed so how could an engraving or lack there of tell you anything about authentic? I bought an older Day-Date President a month ago and it had the persons name, birthday, and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER engraved on the back. What is interesting about this particular engraving is that it is a fairly bad engraving. Which means that an unskilled person did the engraving, but that is all it means. The particular watch I am reffering to is very real indeed. All that aside I'm going to say that your watch is fake. That is a 20K watch and the fact that you don't know how the engraving got on there indicates that its more than likely not real. That's also one of the most commonly counterfeited Rolex's. If you wanna know for sure take it into a pawn shop and tell them you want to sell it. Just don't argue with the people when they tell you its fake.

B.m.w. geneve 250 watch what are the four small dials for how to operate them denis

If it's the same watch I have, the four dials from right to left are day of week, hours left in the day, date 1-31, and possibly a chronograph (mine makes 2 revolutions/minute). On the case, there are three large knobs on the right and two small flush screw-like objects on left. The large knobs (top to bottom) are month selection, time set, and day of week select. Month and day can be selected by pushing the knob to the desired date. On the left, you will need a fine pen or stylus to press the center. Top to bottom, these two buttons control year and date selection.

I have a watch that has the marking rolex quartz and on the back its engraved GENEVE 59312 and the Rolex Crown i have seen many people saying that this is fake because this number doesnt exist. Many...

Thanks for contacting FixYa.
  • Take a look at the second hand. Is it ticking or is it sweeping? If it's ticking, that's your fake. A Rolex second hand sweeps around in one continuous motion. But beware, as of 2005, the good fakes have caught up to this technology.
  • Look for the small engraved crown at the 6 o'clock mark on the crystal. Most fakes will have some sort of large, obvious version of a crown, but this mark on a real Rolex is almost impossible to spot with the naked eye.
  • Look for the word "Rolex" and the watch's serial number engraved at 6 o'clock under the crystal on the area between the crystal and the dial. While many fake Rolex watches post-2005 have this feature, they're usually printed, not engraved.
  • Most new Rolex models have an added model number engraved at the end of the watch end-link. This engraving includes the band model and two tiny Rolex crowns. Your good fakes will have something similar, but not all three indicators.
  • If you're being sold an authentic Rolex (in good condition and in perfect working order) for anything less than $500, become suspicious. If it's in nice shape, it doesn't really lose a lot of appreciation, and in some cases, it increases in value.

  • Best regards. Jewel

I have an old Rolex Geneve Cellini watch gold 12 jewls.. how can i say if its original, not fake.. jan norway

The quickest way to spot a fake Rolex is by the second hand. Is the second hand ticking or sweeping. If it's ticking it's fake. A real Rolex's second hand moves around the dial in one continuous movement.

Check for a small engraved crown on the crystal at 6 o'clock. Most fakes will have something similar. The difference is that the crown on a real one is almost impossible to see by just your eye.

Look for the word "Rolex" and the watch's serial number engraved at 6 o'clock under the crystal on the area between the crystal and the dial. While many fake Rolex watches post-2005 have this feature, they're usually printed, not engraved.

Most other ways relate to newer Rolex watches.
Hope this helps and hope it's the real deal.
