Eninge lite blinks fast and wont start

Pull any error codes.

The engine light lights up when you turn the ignition switch on, then goes off. After four seconds, if it comes on again and stays on, there is a present fault code. When it is an historical fault code, it comes on with ignition and goes off then comes on and goes off again. I believe in like 4 second intervals. A historical code will not be removed until a cycle of 50 ignition on/of intervals has passed. In other words, the engine light will continue to light two times when ignition switch is turned on, after 50 on/off cycles have passed the historical codes will no longer affect the engine light when starting.
If you will hold the odometer button on the side of the console down, and turn the ignition on and off, three times I think, waiting for the fuel pump to stop before turning the ignition switch to the off position, and one second until you turn it on again, the third time holding the odometer button down until the engine light begins to blink it will begin to blink in a fast sequence showing the fault codes will follow.
First indication of fault code display is rapidly blinking engine light. After that count the number of times the engine light lights up. There will be a brief pause between digits. If there are multiple codes stored, the rapid blinking will separate each. Once the fault codes begin to repeat, you have gone through all stored codes.
Tips: Have a pencil and paper ready.
Maybe ask a friend to help out. Sometimes a second pair of eyes can be good.
Go through a couple of cycles, so that you are sure you haven't missed any codes.
One example is if it blinks 3 times, pause, the blinks 2 times, that means 32.
Code 32: Rear Fuel Injector

I lost the code to the ge universal remote jc024

hi...

From this website you can get the for your remote

http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/universal-remote-codes.asp

follow the steps to set up the remote

Method 1
Step 1: Press and hold the "SETUP" button until the red indicator stays on, then release.
Step 2: Press and release the desired Mode button (VCR, TV etc.). The red indicator will blink, then stays lit.
Step 3: Enter the 4 digit code for your device. After a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes!
Step 4: With your device on, press "CHANNEL UP" or "CHANNEL DOWN." If the device responds, no further programming is required. If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand. Note, when all codes have been searched the red indicator flashes rapidly for 3 seconds.

How do you run bridged into 2 ohms dynamic power

If your amp can drive a 2 ohm load then you need to configure your speakers for such a load

1 DVC 12 inch sub with 4 ohm coils wired in parallel would give you two ohm.

series impedance you add the impedance together
parallel it is this formula (Z1^-1+Z2^-1)^-1
the negative 1 exponent is just the inverse so Z1^-1 is just 1/Z1 Figure out your combination for your speaker setup.

Philips universal remote codes

Hi Troysingleto. The code can depend on what model of URC you have. According to a site I found by Googling, the code for Apex TVs on one common URC from Philips is 044. Here are the steps to input it directly:

1. Press and hold the Code Search button until the red indicator stays on. Release the Code Search button.

2. Press and release the desired mode button (TV, DVD, etc). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.

3. Enter the 3 digit code (044) . Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.

4. With your device on, press CHANNEL Up. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your equipment, try one of the other codes for your brand.

If that code does not work, you can still find the code using this manual procedure first posted on FixYa by cptnkirk4064:

1. Manually turn on device to be controlled.

2. Press and hold the "Code Search" button until the red indicator light stays on, then release it.

3. Press and quickly release the desired code button (TV, VCR, etc). The red indicator light should blink once.

4.Press the "Channel Up" button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until thedevice to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator light shouldblink off with each button press. If you accidentally overshoot therequired code, press the "Channel Down" button to backtrack through thelibrary until the device changes channel. Pressing "Channel Up" changesdirection again.

5. Press and release "Mute" button to install the code.

If you wish to actually identify the code once this has been done, this is the procedure:

1. Press and hold the "Code Search" button until the red indicator stays on. Release the "Code Search" button.

2. Press and release the desired mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator light blinks and then stays on.

3. Press and release the "Code Search" button. The red indicator light goes off.

4.To find the first digit for the code stored under the mode key pressedin "Step 2" press each numeric key from 1-9 in turn. When the redindicator light blinks off, the number you pressed is the first digitfor the code you are searching for.

5. To find the second digit, repeat "Step 4," this time when the red indicator light blinks off, this is the second digit in your number.

6. Repeat again for the third digit in your code number.

Once I find out the code for my TV or DVD player, I write it on a small piece of paper (make sure to note which unit code is for!) and tape it to the inside of the lid to the battery compartment for future reference.

Best of luck!

I have a rockford fosgate p250.2 amp hooked up to two 12' subs but the amp is not powering on... instead the protect light is on and im not sure if its because its so cold outside... please help and thank...

Remove the load from the amplifier (subs) and the RCAs
Retry.
If the light stays on, there are internal problems with the amplifier, and it needs to be serviced.
If the amplifier works normally, attach the RCA's and power on again.
If it remains on, connect one sub, and then the other.
Your amplifier is a 2 channel amplifier rated at
60 Watt - 4 Ohm - 2 channel(s)
125 Watt - 2 Ohm - 2 channel(s)
250 Watt - 4 Ohm - 1 channel(s)
Your amplifier is not rated for a 2 ohm mono load.
If you have Single voicecoil subs wired in parallel, you have a 2 ohm mono load - your amplifier will eventually fail.

I do not believe this is available on-line, but have some info that might help you use the remote.

To Search For A Code:
  1. Manually turn on device to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the "Code Search" button until the red indicator light stays on, then release it.
  3. Press and quickly release the desired ode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator light should blink once.
  4. Press the "Channel Up" button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator light should blink off with each button press. If you accidentally overshoot the required code, press the "Channel Down" button to backtrack through the library until the device changes channel. Pressing "Channel Up" changes direction again.
  5. Press and release "Mute" button to install the code.
To Identify The Code That Was Found:
  1. Press and hold the "Code Search" button until the red indicator stays on. Release the "Code Search" button.

  5. To find the second digit, repeat "Step 4," this time when the red indicator light blinks off, this is the second digit in your number.
  6. Repeat again for the third digit in your code number.
I hope this helps out,

Chris
