I have a Partner II model #103F15 comm system. I want to attach a CD player to the system for the Music on Hold feature. What size cable do I need? I am pretty sure the end that goes into the CD player is 1/8 but the system seems to need something smaller than a 1/8 and larger than 3/32.

SOURCE: What is "Background Music" on Partner 18d

Yes, you need some sort of Music player plugged into the front of your phone system. In the front of the system you will see a single RCA plug. whatever you get, needs to plug into that.

The extensions in the voicemail group are not programmed. You need to put the ports that the system sees the voicemail, into #505, group 7.

A CD is stuck in my bose system How do I get it out?

From an other web site

If you have a cd or two stuck in your Bose wave radio, here's how to remove it and save yourself $99. This procedure is for the radio (model AWRCC1 or similar) with a single front loading cd slot.

PART I
1. First unplug the power, wait a minute, and then replug power, watching the front display.
2. The display will read "Ejecting". If the cd ejects, then you're done and can skip Part II. If it doesn't eject and/or it displays "Disk error" then you'll need to do the Part II steps.

PART II
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Turn the radio upside down with the front facing you.
3. Remove the 5 screws from the bottom plate.
4. Hinge the front of the bottom plate up no more than 2". Don't overdo this or you'll damage various ribbon cables inside. Use extra hands or a prop to keep it open this amount.
5. Reach inside and tilt-up the front of cd player's metal housing just enough to access the rims of the cd(s) within the space created in step 4.
6. Pinch the rim(s) of the cd(s) and gently pull it/them out.
7. Reverse these steps to reassemble your radio.

Enjoy your cd player again!

My phone plays the "on-hold" music when not in use through the speakers. How can I get this to stop?

Depends on the model of NEC system you have but since you are using a Dterm DTP set you might have an IPK II in which case you need to press Speaker 7 2 5 Speaker. If that does not work the=n you might have an Electra Elite in which case I think the toggle for Background Music is Feature 26 Feature. Try that. FYI: if you know what you are looking for www.wedophones.com is a good source for phone system manuals.

How can i have music in hold time ?

There are several ways to have music-on-hold for your telephone line(s). 1st you need to have a source of music such as a radio that has an output connection to feed the radio signal to the tele system, or a recorded music player that also has this output connection, or you can subscribe to Muzak (www.muzak.com) a company located in South Carolina that provides this type of service. 2nd, you need a telephone that has the input connection to allow this music source to be connected to the tele system, or you can buy a music-on-hold adapter that will feed your music source into the tele system regardless of the type of phone you have (as long as the phone has "on hold button", or if you choose Muzak, they will provide this aparatus adapter to you. Check the manual that comes with your phone to see if it has this music input feature; I'm not 100% sure of your model without further research, but I feel that the phone most likely does not have this feature. An adapter unit can be found at Radio Shack, or some AT&T telephone stores or on the internet. Good luck, Macgivor.

I need to know how to turn it on...i don't know if its broken or what...cuz i put in new batteries and it won't trun on

1. Open the battery cover on your TuneCast II Mobile FM Transmitter. Install the included AAA batteries and
replace the battery cover.
2. Plug the 3.5mm connector into your iPod player or other portable music device.
3. The AUTO ON feature will power on the FM Transmitter when the unit detects an input signal. Your FM
Transmitter’s “AUTO ON/OFF” feature uses your audio player’s volume level to automatically power on and
off.
For best results, keep your player set at a medium volume level. NOTE: Setting your device volume very
low may cause the FM Transmitter to turn off, even if the audio player is on.
You can also press and hold
both and buttons simultaneously for two seconds to turn on the unit. To turn off the unit, press
and hold both buttons simultaneously again for two seconds.
