My son has a Calypso watch model no. k55506/2 We have a problem to set the time. I search for Calypso and keep getting directed to Casio. Is a Calypso watch a Casio model? That's no problem. The...

This also drove me crazy. But I figured it out:
1. Hold the top left button down until "LIGHT" appears at the top; now you are in the setting more. you can turn the light function on or off by pressing either of the right hand buttons.
2. Then, just keep pressing the bottom left button to toggle through each of the settings (date, hour, minutes, etc.); and use the same right hand buttons to set them as needed.
3. When you're done, press the top left button again to complete your settings.

Oh, one additional thing about my CASIO 'WAVE CEPTOR' watch: After I got (finally) the manual and set up the watch, it set the DIGITAL display to the correct time & date, but the ANALOG display re-set...

You can align the analogue time with the digital time by pressing the mode button until you reach the hand setting position (HS) and then press one of the right hand buttons to change the hand position.

(Check out this with the instructions- it is all there!)

The analogue hands don't show correct time even though the digital time is correct,

Go to "CHR" mode which is the stop watch mode. Pull the mode selector knob, lower right knob. Now all the needles should go 12:00. If not, adjust it using "up" (top right) and "down" (lower left). Select which needles to adjust by top left knob.

I had this watch for almost 10 years and everytime this happened I sent it back for repair. (60 bucks) Finally I open the case my self and the instruction was written on the inside! Hope this helps.

How to adjust the time for casio illuminator watch instructions s-1045DV

Here is how you do it:

Looking at your watch face: the upper left button is A, upper right is B, lower left is C and lower right is D.

Get your watch into "Hand Setting mode" That is the mode witht he digital time and seconds above it.
From Day and Date window it would mean pushing button "C" six times to get to that mode.

Once in "Hand Setting Mode"
Hold down button "A" til time blinks, then press button "D" to advance the hands, to the desired time.

Press "A" to exit mode.

Press "C" to return to timekeeping mode.

I HAVE AN E377 RF WATCH THAT HAS DEVELOPED A PROBLEM. THE DIGITAL DISPLAY OF THE TIME IS SHOWING CORRECTLY BUT THE HANDS ARE SLOW BY 2HRS 20MINS. ACCORDING TO THE JEWELLER, THE BATTERY HAS PLENTY OF...

You need to remove the battery in order to stop the watch. You may have to short the watch's battery terminals after battery removal to discharge the internal capacitor, or just wait until it stops. Next you need to align all of the hands to the 12 O'Clock position. Follow the instruction booklet to do this, by pressing S1(top right button) and holding it until the watch starts to race forward (all 3 hands will move) then you can release it. When the hands reach approx. 11:59, press S1 again to halt the speeding motion. Now be very patient and make brief presses of S1 to advance the hands by one second at a time, until the watch shows all 3 hands at the 12 O'Clock position. When you have achieved this press S4 (Lower left button) for 1 second to confirm. (tedious beyond question)

After the LCD display switches on, set the time zone as instructed in the instruction booklet.
If auto synchronisation doesn't work and the watch moves to 12:03 or thereabouts, then carry out a manual sync, by following the instructions under 'Manual Signal Reception', or wait until the next auto update at 3am.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Viceroy sapphire ladies watch instructions

Looking at this watch I believe the lower right button changes the watch between chrono & time. Push that button until the hand in the bottom dial is on time. Then see if the bottom right button pulls out. If it does then this will put the watch in time setting mode. Now push the top right button. This should move the hands around so you can set the time. I hope this works I'm trying to go by what the watch looks like.

How to set watch

I just set the time on mine with these instructions 1) With the watch in the regular time display mode (doesn't matter if 12 hour or military time), depress and hold the lower left hand button (mode button). After a few seconds the watch appears to shift to alarm mode and it is blinking. This puts you into the mode for adjusting the alarm.

2) If you want to adjust time, date, etc rather than alarm time, after you have done step one, simply press that same lower left button again, and then it will put you into the time mode, but this time the time mode is blinking and you can adjust the various components (seconds, minutes, hours) then you can use the upper right hand button to navigate thru seconds, minutes and hours. Then you can change the time with the lower right hand button you can only change the time forward. I hope this helps !!!
