Unplugged fridge to move, now it doesn't work (no known damage)

Kenmore Elite Mini-Fridge Model# 564.91499100

We unplugged our fridge, cleaned it, and slid it across a smooth tile floor about 20ft. to plug into a new location. Now it doesn't work. Nothing unusual happened while cleaning or moving. There is nothing wrong with the electrical outlet. Could it be the fuse?

This KENMORE LOVES to pop GFI outlets. Check the outlet or any GFI outlet that might be in series (part of) the outlet you are using.

Once I figured this out I have to now and then check the GFI connected to it. Check your breaker box. Check the outlet yourself by plugging in a lamp. hair dryer....etc. Outlets do go bad.

Kenmore Elite Fridge Cooling Problems 795.74043.411

There is a class action lawsuit as them failing is a known issue. They have a 13 year lifespan according to this. The suit is still open.

If your door icemaker was working, you could blame a faulty evaporator fan in the fridge for it being warm or even an iced up evaporator coil. Considering nothing is as cold as it should be, a failing compressor or being low on refrigerant gas are the likely culprits. The article explains what the issue is, a plastic valve in the compressor that is known to fail. One engineer replaced 7 in a month and keeps a spare in the truck, BUT, the replacement is the same as the one that came out and has a the same plastic valve known to fail!

There is nothing further on the remote diagnostics.

Get rid of it and buy a different make, not LG or Kenmore. My GE fridge freezer is 23 years old and has only needed a defrost timer. Join the lawsuit.

Kenmore fridge, model#253.682800. I have a new defrost timer being sent. Looks like an easy install, plug style. Remove ceiling console , wiring harness unplugs, do I really have to unplug fridge ?

the logic is for safety [so you dont get zapped if accidentally touch power ] other is so dont damage or short other components while moving wires around

Kenmore elite coldspot model 106.74219400 freezes in the fridge never gets above 5 or 10 degrees and it never shuts off.

there is a flap in the refrigerator side usually near or behind the light bulb the freezer side is thermostatically controlled with the compressor being controlled. On the refrigerator side the cold air comes from the freezer side. when this flap is open the refrigerator will cool continuously, Check the flap or the duct assembly
here is an illustration of the part

Kenmore elite refrigerator is not cooling, but the freezer seems to be working fine.

Kenmore Elite refrigerators come in several styles, including units with a freezer at the top and units with freezers at the bottom. The top and bottom of the fridge work on different systems. Sometimes the freezer may function perfectly, while the fridge performs poorly. Most issues with the fridge cooling are due to incorrect settings or poor cleaning practices. Checking common problems with the refrigerator will help you diagnose the situation and keep expensive repairs to a minimum
1. Check that the Kenmore Elite refrigerator is plugged in. Inspect the circuit breaker of the home if the refrigerator is plugged in but not running.
2. Pull the unit out from the wall and vacuum the condenser coils at the back of the unit.
3. Turn the temperature control in the Kenmore Elite refrigerator to the "On" position.
4. Turn up the temperature on the temperature control, located inside the unit on the wall.
5. Check the seal along the door for signs of cracks or dryness. If it is damaged, lift up on the seal to expose the screws that hold it in place. Loosen the screws and pull the seal off. Place a new seal on the unit, starting in the corners and working your way around to insert the tabs into the Kenmore Elite fridge door.

I hope i solve you problem.
Have a nice day : )

Kenmore elite model#5059903 the divider between the freezer and fridge gets extremely hot.

Refridgerators have coils than run thru then body of the fridge. They are there to reduce moisture and condensation. It is normal for tham to get warm and sometimes they do get hot it happens when the coil is too close to the body. Normally it only happens periodically. If it is so hot it burns or if it stays hot and dont stop than you have two options. #1 move contents of fridge to another location (back up fridge) and unplug for 24 hrs leave doors slightly open and have some towels near bottom there will be a little bit of water. Plug back in if this does not work. Contact the manufacturer and let them know. There may be a defect in the design.

Kenmore side by side not cooling

First off how far did it get leaned when moved and second it might just need to be cleaned.
If you laid it down when it was moved it should have been left unplugged for 12 hrs before plugging in because the refridgerant used is also a lubricant and it needs time to settle.
As far as cleaning it you will need to take off the back panel and use a vac to clean out the dust. There is also a kickplate on the front that needs to come off and clean the cooling grates that are under there. If you have a dryer brush it works great for cleaning the grates. You can get between them with it.
Unplug it before you do any of this.
