Scanner codes im trying to find free scanner codes for the local police and i cant find a web site that has them. i have a radio shack c97 hand held scanner

Radioreference.com. Go to their data base, Click on your state then your county. It will give you all police/fire ems frequencies.

not all scanners will pick up the same, the hand held can't pick up frequency as far as the other one.
