hi..ur motorola v3i is defaulted with 7 to 10 hrs of battery life only...o save more power...
Keep the brightness on the screen to a minimum. You can also adjust how long the backlight stays on without input from the user.
Turn off the Bluetooth when not in use. Bluetooth is a big battery draw.
Disable incoming beams so that the phone isn't constantly "searching" for infrared partners.
Completely close non-essential programs. When you run an application, it does not shut down completely when you "close" it. It is simply minimized. Go into the Settings to completely shut down any programs you are no longer using
also u cud get a car charger so that u cud be sure not to run out of juice..
Thanks for using Fixya
No matter which way you cut it, the unit requires a flash. You really should go to a motorola service center, but if you must do it yourself, Download RSD lite and go to www.motox.info and download a monsterpack for the v3i. Make sure you check the version of firmware you are running by pushing * # and send at the same time. This is called bootloader mode. The mosterpack for your v3i will start with R479 or R47A depending which version you have. While the phone is in bootloader mode start RSD lite plug your v3i in and click flash. Should take about 15 min
hey, may be your phone the button on the left side of the cover can help you, during a call, press the upper part, it raises the volume of the telephone maybe including earpiece volume..
you need to talk to your cell carrier about that, there is nothing in the phone itself that controls whether it can receive calls from landlines or other cell phones.
